  1. I had no knowledge of the interview until they turned up. I think they were hoping to catch me living with my first childs father. Seeing as this is not true they left disappointed.
  2. Thanks for the replies. I called today to ask if tehinterview could be brought forward and the womans attitude (the one that interviewed me the first time) was disgusting. had absolutely no reason to be so rude. It was definitely staff from DWP, they flashed their badges. I had no-one with me but they did inform me I could stop the interview at any time etc
  3. Hi I recieved a letter on the 11/05/10 informing me that I need to attend another interview under caution as the first one (which was at my home at 7.30am on the 23/02/10) had to be suspended as they needed to gather further information. When the two officers came on the first visit, they flashed their badges and one put her foot in the door so that I could not close it. I gladly let them in and they told me they had reasons to suspect I was living with the father of my child.(I have two children, two different fathers) So I replied which one? At this point they looked at each other confused. It transpired that they were talking about my first childs father. Obviously I was shocked as he has his own address which I know he has recently aquired after being of no fixed abode for a while. They asked me if he had any mail coming to the house, I said he had as I had allowed him to use my address as a care of address seeing as he had no fixed abode and he did not trust his family. I was then asked if he had any credit applications open at this address to which I said not to my knowledge. At this point, one of the officers was really sarcastic and rude and kept repeating.. Are you living together? are you sure you have just 'forgot' to tell us about it? My eldest is 9 years old, the next question was 'why do you both have the same address on the birth certificate?? This took me aback as I didnt know what exactly was on the birth certificate. When my child was born we both lived in the same block of flats but different numbers. I have nothing to hide, so was very calm and co-operative although I did feel that I was being asked the same questions but with different angles on them so I 'slip up' if you like. All my answers were written down but I had to complain when it was read back as it was not word for word!! A few days after their visit I had a conversation with my childs father who informed me that he had lost his job and went to the job centre to claim JSA and accidently gave my address!! As you can imagine I was fuming and told him that is not acceptable and he needs to sort it out and in the process get his mail re-diredted to his new address. He went back there and claimed again but this time at his new address. I'm almost certain that the allegation came from one of the job centre staff......clearly just doing their job. Is it usual for people to have two interviews?? Should I be worried?? Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
  4. Hi all This is also my first post, not sure if I'm in the right place, so I apologise if I'm not. Recieved a letter last week from Lowell Portfolio asking to confirm my address, which I ignored because I have never heard of them. I then recieved another letter on thursday that was to inform me they were sold my t-mobile account on the 15/09/2006 and that they would be appointing Red Debt collection agents to recover the outstanding debt. Which apparently is £600. I had a contract with T-mobile or One2One as it was known back in 1998/9 and there was a mixed up with the amount of line rental I was to pay each month, it was original £15 and they tried to make me upgrade to a deal that was £30 a month. I said no, but they went ahead anyway. I tried to sort it out back then but all to no avail. I still have all my mobile statements from back then. T-mobile have never chased me for the money, probably because they were in the wrong which is why I'm confused. Any help would be appreciated.
