  1. Thanks Havinastella, should I mention my mother's address so that at least they stop contacting her? (we have same initials and she often opens my mail by mistake )
  2. I have received both a letter and an email from Scotcall threatening a visit. I would just ignore them but the address they are threatening to visit is my mother's home. I don't live there, I am overseas, shall I respond to the email saying that I live overseas? The original debt was Lloyds, but I dispute the amount as it was predominantly charges and although they had been given my US address they did not ever contact me. Lloyds now refuse to speak to me as the debt has been sold. I really would love to ignore scotcall, but don't want my mother to be dragged into anything. Thank you
  3. the debt was passed onto moorcroft dec 2010, I hadn't used the account since dec 2009. I spoke to lloyds today, but haven't acknowledged anything in writing. (the account is closed now) I have told my parents to return to sender etc I am being sent the last two years statements, and have statements for the previous 4 years and yes, the charges far outweigh the debt
  4. I have recently received letters from Moorcroft at my parent's address (I don't live there, I live overseas) regarding my LloydsTSB account and credit card. Should I contact them to let them know my overseas address? I also dispute the amount as I suspect it is all made up of late fees etc. What is my best course of action? Thank you
  5. I have just received letters from moorcroft, regarding my LloydsTSB account and credit card. I left the country over 2 years ago and while there was a small amount owed on both it was nowhere near the amount they are requesting. The worst thing is they are sending letters to my Parent's address and I obviously don't want them to have to get involved. Should I let Moorcroft know my overseas address? What is my best course of action regarding this disputed amount?

The same thing happened to me on the 4th August, the comet repair man came on the 9th and "cleared the ice build up from evaporator and air ducts" but it is still not working and I have to wait another week to get someone else round, this is totally unacceptable to me as I have 2 small children. please could I have the number you were given, as the comet service centre is useless ( the girl hung up on me for sighing at her!!!) Please also let us know how you are getting on with this. Thanks,
