Does anyone know if there is national guidelines on the issue of returning to FREE on street parking bays within a certain limit, the question here is how far do you have to go to avoid been caught up in the return time ? The local council has reduced the number of on street parking bays to try and make people use the expensive car parks, the new signs state 1 hour or 30 minutes allowed and no return up to 2 hours after. So if you park your car and move it within the hour how far do you have to go ? to avoid the "no return" bit. I assumed it was another street ? However what happens if its a very long street, or a street which leads onto another road. First post so hope in right area
