  1. Thanks for your latest reply, but I must admit this is getting a bit beyond me now. I think I'm just going to have to reach a payment agreement with them. Thanks again though .
  2. Sorry about the previous post. As you can see the pics didn't come out well! I've attached links to URL's of the pics instead. Can someone give me some advice on these 2 letters please? Thanks in advance. OK. These pics just aren't working out at all! What am I doing wrong?
  3. These are the replies I have received back from Barclaycard and Capital One after I told them they had not provided me with a proper CCA. Why are they so convinced they are in the right? It worries me and I sort of feel like I'm making things worse for myself.
  4. Brilliant! Thank you. I'll leave you alone now . Have a lovely, ralaxing Bank Holiday weekend .
  5. Another problem now! I was just editing the 'Account in dispute' letters to send to Lloyds TSB, as I haven't had a reply to my CCA request within the time period. I sent them 2 separate letters originally as I have 2 different credit card accounts with them. I was just checking the 'track and trace' to find out when they received them so I could put the date in the letters and found that only 1 has been delivered. The other just states that it has been accepted at the post office I sent it from. The problem is........I don't know which one is which as the addresses are exactly the same. So I d
  6. Just a quick question. In the account in dispute letter, I don't really understand the paragraph: ' Furthermore, you are aware that the Consumer Credit Act allows 12 working days for a request for a true copy of a credit agreement to be carried out before you/your client enters into a default situation.' I don't quite get the 'you/your client' part - which should it be?
  7. I have been waiting for a reply back from MBNA from my CCA request I sent them. Yesterday I received a letter from them telling me that my outstanding balance due to them has been sold to Direct Legal-Dtl and that 'all enquiries regarding this account, including accurate balance information, together with future payments, should be made directly to this company.' No mention of my CCA request at all!
  8. That sounds good, although I'd have to omit the part about them contacting me as, apart from one letter from Mercers, there's been nothing else. Do you think I should also tell them that the account is in dispute?
  9. After I'd come back from posting the above letters, one to Capital One & one to Barclaycard, I received a letter from Mercers saying:- "We are dealing with your account on behalf of Barclaycard. This account is still overdue and we have been unable to contact you. We will be instructing a local debt colector to visit you at the above address to collect payment. To avoid this happening telephone Mercers Debt Collections Ltd immediately on 0844 822 2003. They wouldn't really send someone round would they?
  10. Ah, okay. I thought it might have been something like that. Well, thanks again! I'll get all letters sent off today.
  11. Thanks for sending that link to the letter I need to send. I just want to clarify something in the letter that doesn't make sense. It reads "Therefore this account has become unenforceable at law. As you have failed to comply with a lawful request for a true, signed copy of the said agreement and other relevant documents mentioned in it, Failed to send a full statement of the account and Failed to provide any of the documentation requested. You will also be aware of the CPUTR 2008 and the OFT's guidelines on debt collection which state under the title Deceptive and/or unfair methods -
  12. It will have been 12 working days today since I sent the CCA requests out. I still haven't heard from Lloyds TSB or MBNA. I suppose I should send out something to say their time's up should I? Also, even though Sky Card seem to have sent everything requested, should I remind them of my last monthly offer to them which they previously said wasn't enough?
