  3. If I wanted to cross out the relevant parts I would have done. I know longer have an account with them, so I feel it would not impact me either way. Suffice to say, I then received today in the post an app form to reopen an account with them, how odd! Reverse pr?
  4. Settled in full, don't bank with them any more since a year ago. They did put the money into my 'non closed savings account' but happily transferred it to HSBC the same day when I 'queried it'. Whole process was easy with them, DG sent the standard 50% letter, I replied no ta and then 2 days later, the full amount offer. Ta again!
  5. The mistakes I made were : 1) Sent the business letter (LBA) first, presumed it was a prelim oops. 2) Letter was undated in the copy but sent recorded, reply from Natwest was' Thank you for your undated letter'. 3) A few more charges have appeared and I feel I should start over with a prelim, then LBA and then MCOL. Already have the standard fob off, so sort of guessing if I should just go to mcol or redo and tighten the mistakes up. Thank you for your time.
  6. Hi, I feel I will have to redo my natwest business claim due to various mistakes. The preliminary letter in the templates page, can it be used for business and consumer , or should there be a business prelim letter template too please?
  7. Hi again, Do we proceed to mcol now (treating the business letter as a LBA) or ? Cheers in advance! Mike
  8. Heyas We are pursuing NatWest for bank charges for the firm I joinly own. Sent in the business version letter and received the standard fob off ' we don't believe etc' letter. Small query, the business letter reads as a LBA to me , I presume we just wait 14 days and then money claim? Not sure if the process is different to the consumer one. We did not send a prelim as I just assumed (maybe incorrectly) that the business letter would be a fair start. Should I send another LBA with a schedule or just wait 14 days and use moneyclaim (which is fine as company too?) (Funnie
  9. Received letter today from DG, offering a partial settlement. Will send a no thanks letter etc!
  10. Okies, long time no post but up to the moneyclaim part now, standard 'go away letters' so far. I have checked the faq's and read quite a few threads, I am having a small panic attack over the moneyclaim info. (Thanks to spiceskull etc for the info as shown). Apart from adding this in where do you post the spreadsheet charges? Questions : 'I have a contract with [bANK] dated [opening date?], ( I have an approx opening date). I am claiming a refund of money taken by [end of account? what is this date normally referenced to?} The claimant claims interest under
  11. Received very polite letter back today, sending back my cheque and saying a courier will drop off the statements. Letter also mentions manual interventions will be included via notes and the records only go back six months. ( If a scan is required, please let me know) Onwards!
  12. Recorded Delivery prelim letter sent today. This should be fun;)
