Guys, need a little advice here. I received a letter out of the blue this morning from Cabot saying they would be visiting me next Monday. Now - I have never heard of these people or ever received anything from them before. I've only lived in my current premises for 7 weeks. (Probably) stupidly I rang the number on the letter to find out what it was about. Guy asked me if I lived at a particular address - which I did some years ago, and then for my DOB. I said I'm not giving you my DOB over the phone without knowing what its about and he suggested I look up their website, and the conversation

Received a letter today offering the full amount. Result! Just about to do the survey, donation will be made when I get back from holiday next week.

Letter sent advising I will be holding out for the full amount, and explaining I will discuss my fee for confidentiality

When they do, wait another 14 days and send them the second letter...get told to bugger off again, wait another 14 days and file your claim
