Hi I have just received statements back from Tesco Visa after sending DPA letter. Do I include the 8% in the 1st prim letter or leave it until i have to file at court? Also can I claim for charges of £10.00 (late payment fees) I thought I read somewhere that £10.00 was an exceptable amount and only anything above this amount should be claimed.:? I would really appreciate your help to get my money back. Thanks

Hi All Happy Days Nat West Paid up:D Now that i've managed to get a good response i'am going to tackle Tesco Visa next. I've already sent my DPA letter, fingers crossed this one goes as smoothly.

Thanks for that, deleted all the red writing and posted the 2nd letter today. Lets hope they pay up now. Would be really worried if i had to go to the next step of a small claims court.

Hi Iam from Northern Ireland also, and am just about to send my 2nd letter to Nat West. If i hear nothing from them how do i go about claiming on line through the small claims court. your help would be great as never been to court and starting to get worried now.:o

Hi all Sent 1st letter to Nat West. Received reply along with guide to making a complaint leaflet, standard letter that they will look into the matter and will contact me within the next 10 days etc, etc. Going to send 2nd letter but was wondering what was meant by claiming under ss.7 and 13 of the DPA 1998 Act. Want to make sure i get the wording right that iam claiming for. Would be most grateful for any help. Thanks in advance.

Hi this is my first post, This is a great site, after reading lots of threads have decided to take on Tesco Personal Finance. Hope this is not a stupid question but would like to know when sending the DPA does it have to be from the date i opened the account eg July 1999 til July 2005 or does it have to be for the last 6 years ie May 2000 til May 2006. hope i explained that ok. Thanks.
