  1. Thanks for all your replies everyone. They are greatly appreciated.! I have decided NOT to go with this company and do this myself. I`ve been reading up on everything. This site has been such an eye opener to me so thanks everyone for all of your support so far...I`m sure I will need you further because there is such a lot to take in...Hopefully I can lean on you all a little bit longer until I get the hang of it all. Thanks again everyone Collyflower32
  2. Hi I`m sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place. Please feel free to move if I have.... My query is about companies who act on your behalf to consolidate your debts. I have been in touch with a company who said they can half my debts. They have just sent me a pack with a direct debit sheet and a bank giro slip for me to pay them £250 for them to act on my behalf and the letter tells me it`s due on the 27th of this month. Is this legally binding? And also should I trust a company like this? Thank you in advance for any replies Collyflower32
