  1. My bank charges a monthly £12 fee for running my account, I cannot go overdrawn, if an unexpected payment is presented to them and there are no funds in the account they refuse payment but there is no charge to me for doing that, and why should there be, it has cost them nothing, just a computer program that says "yes" or "no" to a payment being made. All transactions are immediate so if I buy something off the internet or at the local supermarket, the payment is immediatly taken from my account, none of the 3 day overlap that lets you think you have money that you don't lol
  2. Is it still worth starting a claim? I have been stung this week for almost £260 of charges for last months oooopsies and then for 4 DD to Paypal which were returned unpaid, all of which were for less than £10
  3. Letter to bailiff... and letter to council... Just fill in the blanks and modify it to suit.
  4. At last a result (I think), I just received letters from Credit Security Limited (same address as Debt Managers) saying... I guess that is good news, as for contacting their client, they haven't said who the client is, so I can't. Unless they mean Debt Managers LTD or AKTIV KAPITAL ?!?
  5. I have overpayments from 2007/08 and now they stopped this years because I didn't return the earnings details in time. But I read the BBC report in the first post on this forum and saw this Is this an official rule? Are they claiming back money when they shouldn't be? Or is this just for Working Tax Credits? Sorry for so many questions
  6. I'll post it in the morning. Thanks fro the advice. I'll let you know the outcome.....
  7. I am a little confused after reading some other threads. Should I send the letter above in post #3 or send a CCA?
  8. I was going to send the CCA letter but then I found that one. So I guess I save the £1 postal order for another DCA. I am looking forward to the time I have enough knowledge and confidence to pass on the advice I have found on here and hopefully, like you said, help someone else realise that it isn't so bad.
  9. I first came to this site a while ago when I got a hand delivered bailiff letter through the door. I didn't post, I just read the threads and I am still here and so are all my posessions Since then I have lurked, reading many posts, getting lost a few times, but always finding good, helpful advice. Now I am also one of the many who have received letters from (Debt Managers - Call serve - Aktiv Kapital) for a debt I don't know of. Again I have found good advice without posting but I thought it was about time I got my post count to 1 at least Again thank you to all the helpful people on this site.
