  1. Well, this is still not really sorted. Link got a charging order against me in Feb of this year..I went to the court case, and was ordered to pay £30 pm to Link. I have sent payment by cheque (recorded delivery) every month..and every month, I have asked for Direct Debit details. So far, they have not cashed a single cheque!...have never written to me...in fact, it's as though I don't exist!!! I wish to comply with the Court's decision...but am at a loss what to do next?...I am sure as hell not going to ring them!! Please can someone advise me who to contact to sort this out??
  2. Thank you..yes, Standing Order is a good idea. Cannot find any reference to their details...does this mean I would have to phone them? (will do so from a call box if necessary)
  3. Hi Everyone, I posted several months ago, about a £4,000 loan, which Link bought from another company. They applied for a Charging Order, which unfortunately was granted (although I turned up at Court, and they didn't)...The Judge was very nice, told me not to worry too much, as it was very unlikely anything would happen, provided I paid £30 pcm (this was back in February) Well, I sent my first payment in February, as the court had told me..I wrote a letter with it requesting a Direct Debit mandate...to which I had no reply. I then sent another payment in March, and another in April. This month, as I hadn't heard a thing from Link, I sent another cheque payment, again requesting a Direct Debit Mandate, and I also checked the account that has their payment amount set up as a standing order from my wages account (if you get my drift..I like to keep it seperate)...and lo and behold, no payment's have gone out! I dont know what to do...I dont want to phone them, as I dont want them knowing my number cos they hassle non-stop. Any advice on where to go from here?...I am trying to pay the daft sod's...but they are making it difficult...is this a ruse to try and force the charging order?...very underhand if it is!...please help someone thank you
  4. Hi Guys, Yes, latest is..that Link applied for a Charging Order..was due to go to Court in Cardiff on 20th November..So, I continued to pay £20 per month (as advised by the court, who said that Link had not responded to my offer, which I had sent) and asked for the hearing to be moved to Newcastle. Recieved a letter today from Stink, saying that "This application will proceed until the Charging order is made final" It goes on to say "We would however confirm that provided payments are maintained at a minimum rate of £20 per month, no additional action will be taken to enforce the Judgement" So, they are proceeding...hopefully it will get moved to my local court, and I can ask why the charging order is being applied for, when I am paying the amount. Thanks guys
  5. Hi Supasnooper. Have contacted the court this morning, and the form was sent by them to link (as per usual)..Link did not acknowledge it...therefore they today said I should continue to pay the amount, and that was the reason I was not contacted by the Court further..as Link never acknowledged it (if that makes sense?)
  6. What happens (if like me) a charging order has been applied for, but you havent ever recieved any communication from the court in response to your offer of payment for £25 per month? I lost my case with Link Financial over a debt of £4,130. I replied to the courts, with my income / outgoings and offered to pay £25 per month, as that is what i could afford...then got a letter from link advising they were applying for a charging order...I wrote them the template letter (keeping up my payments of £25 pm) but am now requested to appear at Cardiff Court for the Charging Order hearing!...can anyone tell me why i havent had a response from the court?

  8. It's been weeks now, still heard nothing from the Courts. Paid my initial £20 last month, will pay next £20 this month...just nothing back at all
  9. Hi Again Guys and Gals. Still awaiting news from the Court, but I just have a quick question please? Having looked through all my paperwork here, I find that I have been charged a huge amount of interest by both Link and the Original Creditors. As this has gone through the Court procedure now, am I in any position to reclaim some of these charges at a later date or not? (Just want to have a pop back at them!) Thanks
  10. Thanks Shadow..I may give the court a ring..I only communicate with Link via letter..they dont have my phone number..I have heard they harrass people to death over the phone.
  11. Help..this is kinda spirraling again. I have just recieved a letter from Link Financial saying they are applying to the Court for a charging Order on my property. (letter recieved today 23rd..apparently sent on the 16th!..hmmm) I have sent my n244 to the Cardiff court (yes, link swapped it to Cardiff..never told me of course) with my incomings and outgoings..Paid my fee etc...still not heard anything back from the Courts Any Ideas what my next move should be?...really fed up to the back teeth with Link Financial...I was quite prepared to pay GEMoney too...really underhand!
  12. Ah..it's ok, I found the help sheet. Should I sent a copy of my CPR letter (which states they have 7 days to supply this information..and didnt?)
  13. Hi again. I have downloaded and am in the process of filling out form n244 Couple of questions I need advice with please? 1) Will I be required to attend the hearing?...will it be held in Northampton?..eeek!..thats a long journey! 2) the bit about "How long do you expect the hearing to take" doesnt make any sense to me..how am i supposed to know that? Many thanks
  14. Hi Shadow / Grumlin..thanks for coming back on this one. I can't afford to pay it off in one go Shadow, so i will need to go the N224 route. Is the N244 the form to set aside? (looks like it I guess, but also looks like a Criminal form too!) I have Bank Statements proving I was paying off GEMoney..would I need to send all those with the form too?..or will this go to a hearing? Thanks again
