I am in really huge trouble. I had a loan with SwiftMoney which defaulted, this was over a year ago. Stupidly it was head in the sand time and I ignored the emails & letters. At the time of default, I cancelled my debit card so they couldn't take any money. Yesterday, I received an email from SwiftMoney stating that they had successfully taken £575 from my account (2 x £250 and 1 x £75.00). I have no idea how they managed to obtain new card details. I have confirmed with my bank that this is the case and they say that I have to wait for the charges to appear on my statement before they can dispute. What do I do? This has left me with £11 to feed a family of five for the month. Are they allowed to do this?

Funnily enough, they didn't show! Wasn't expecting that!

Just received a letter from Marston saying that in five days an enforcement officer will attend to recover debt and establish assests should a court order be obtained. I'm pretty sure no one will turn up and this is probably a scare tactic, but should how should I respond to this?

On a more serious note, how do I go about dealing with companies that have got attachment of earnings orders against me already? (Black Horse & HFC are the culprits!)

I believe the saying goes that a reputable DCA is as easy to come by as rocking horse s*!t!

Hi All,I've been paying Welcome finance £64 a month. They phoned on Friday asking for this months payment and I told them not to take it. (Unfortunately, they have retained my debit card details). I discover today that they have taken it anyway!!! Is there anyway I can get it back?????ANy help, gratefully received - as a result of my few posts here, I already have issued 2 CCA requests (to London Scottish & Citi Financial). Hi Everyone!Over the course of the last few years, I have got myself into a real financial muddle - and I've got all the biggies - HFC, Black Horse, Welcome Finance, Citi Financial - to say I'm up to my eyeballs would be a huge understatement and it's putting a massive strain on my marriage .HFC and Black Horse (which was for a car I had to have scrapped in the end) have successfully got Attachment of Earnings orders, Welcome are stinging me to the tune of 64.00 a month (this is a negotiated reduced payment with interest frozen allegedly). I have no paperwork for any of these loans. We're talking about 20-25k of debt here.Is there anything I can do to get a grip of this situation as it is causing me alot of grief (phone calls/letters etc.)Any help of advice would be greatly appreciated!I'm guessing, from what I've read so far, that I need to obtain all the data that these companies hold about me and have charged me, how do I go about it, what am I looking for and what do I do next?Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
