The annual accounts for Mortgage Funding 2008-1 plc of whom my mortgage is securitised with clearly states the following "The mortgages underlying the loans to originators are administered by Capstone Mortgage Services Limited on behalf of Mortgage Funding 2008-1 plc" Conclusive proof that they are pulling all the strings in my book!! Attached are the accounts for PML and SPML (as submitted to CH). Makes very interesting reading indeed. It is in both these documents that it very clearly states and of course confirmed by Amany's Signature that PML and SPML have NOOOOO Employees and they were all transfered to Capstone. This is further backed up by a zero figure for wages relating to staff. It also states that the company it looking to be wound down. Enjoy!!!!! Hi All, Just taken a quick look at the accounts submitted for PML and SPML for 2007 and interestingly but not surprisingly it shows no employees and to confirm this they also spent nothing on wages. They definately show a fairly big decline from 2006. There is also a comment from the auditors stating that there is "uncertainty concerning the company being an ongoing concern". Sced

Hi, There are many companies that do line rental now and not just BT. People include:- Sky, Post Office, Talk Talk, BullDog, Etc. Just do a search on Google and you will find some. Hope that helps Sced.

Absolutely. just to give a little in sight. I had about £4k of original arrears that I quite happily put my hands up to. I need to do some calculating but I have either paid off all my original arrears or am very close to it (less than £1k). However with all the charges added including solicitors fees, litigiation management fees etc my arrears are actually more than they originally were. From my point of view their charges etc should not be classed as arrears and would think they are in breach of the suspended order against me as they must be using the extra I pay each month towards their charges. Or they do not know the definition of arrears. I definately remember the judge saying the extra is to be paid towards arrears. They cant have their cake and eat it im afraid.

I dont think this is bad news at all because they are not exactly fully up to date. I got my mortgage in 2007 with PML when they were still trading properly, so wouldnt expect there to be an issue with supplying account for this time. I do think it will be much harder for them to supply full accounts for 2008/2009.

Correct Ryde. Each company is treated as a seperate legal entity but enforcements can be made against directors which could possibly affect such companies. For example, if a director is prosecuted and no longer allowed to be a director then any company they are a sole director to would be dissolved. Sced

Hi Ryde, An annual return is some basic info on a company and includes things like company registered address, name of directors, type of company, main activities, info about share captial etc. You can find some info on this here About Us - Guidance A full return is basically the full accounts for the year which include profit & loss, balance sheet etc. Basically it is a criminal offence to not submit the correct info to CH and the directors / secretaries can be prosecuted. The only reason I think that SPML/PML have filed annual returns is because it would not show them insolvent or in criminate them in anyway and just shows them as an ordinary company. On the other hand the reason their full accounts are so overdue is because they have something to hide, like they are insolvent. Its the full accounts that matter as this shows the figures. Actually how about NOT!!!! I was offered a mortgage by a high street bank for a good rate however my broker then decided to tell me that the lender changed their mind and the only available offer was to take PML. I wanted my house and if I didnt go with it then I would have lost out!!! I didnt have a perfect credit history but it certainly doesnt seem it would have stopped me getting a decent mortgage. I contacted the high street lender recently who clearly stated my mortgage offer was not turned down, they simply never received the full application back. Now because I trusted a broker whom I thought was looking after me, I now have a s**t credit rating and cannot even borrow £1 let alone re-mortgage. So for some and probably a good majority the following statement is crap. Sced
