  1. I hope so. I've read that around 75% of lloyds rejected claims are then upheld by the FOS. It's just a really slow process!
  2. My partner has also just received an almost identical letter! He is going to try writing to Lloyds again and then FOS if no luck. It seems as though 99% of complaints against Lloyds PPI which go to the FOS prove successful for the customer. (well February 2012 this was the case)
  3. Have just realised, was not Bookinn, but Booking.com - which is a link from Tripadvier. The Bookinn one could not have been the one as it does not have hotels in the place we are going to.
  4. Hi, I don't know if anyone can give advice. My mother made a booking for a hotel on a website called Bookinn.com. She travels this Tuesday. The reservation was made in March. However she has now found out that the company have since cancelled the reservation, even though they have taken the money from her (she has confirmed this directly with the hotel, and she has now booked directly with them for an increased price). The company are saying it will take 2 months for the money to be refunded. Is there a quicker way of getting the money back? Anyone else has problems?
  5. I received a letter at the beginning of the week telling me I owed Tiscali about £30. I rang to query this as I pay by direct debit, they could not explain why the direct debit hadn't gone out in May. My direct debit for this last month should have gone out today so I now owe them just over £60. I have been with them for a year so do not understand why the direct debit has suddenly stopped. Where do I stand? Are they responsible for their mistake or do I have to pay them myself? Really annoyed at having to pay 2 months at once!
