  1. Hi Delboyzmail, Pity your company has been stupid enough to pay fine but think there is no chance of having it refunded. They paid the fine so they should stand the loss.
  2. Scaniaman has now diverted this thread on to a food discussion. His comments are certainly not helpful insofar as parking charges are concerned. Can we please get back to what this thread is about namely illegal parking charges whether they be at McDonalds or elsewhere
  3. Hi Areal Engineer Now that you have got the message!! Do not pay them again.
  4. Hi Vic1 Agree completely with Barnsley Boy. Hang on there and continue to ignore, I have adopted these tactics and have heard nothing for last 2 months when i was threatened with visit from field agent.
  5. Hi Saltybike, The last letter I received from Elite was dated 13th June. I ignored the letter and so far no Field Agents have called at my door. Hopefully they won't
  6. Hi Vic1, I would be inclined to continue to ignore them. In the unlikely event of any debt collectors turning up at your mum's door she can tell them that you do not live there anymore and if the PPC wish to contact you they can go to the trouble and expense of contacting the DVLA.
  7. Have read the documents which you recommended and have picked out 3 instances where DCA are in breach. 1. Visiting or threatening to visit debtors without prior agreement when the debt is deadlocked or in dispute. 2.Ignoring and/or disregarding claims that debts have been settled or are disputed and continuing to make unjustified demands for payment. In the meantime I am continuing to ignore them.

  9. Hi Lamma My scanner is out of action but the letter is headed elite collections but it is signed by Field Agent Department, Elite Collections International Ltd. and the footer is Elite Collections International Ltd.
  10. Have today received a further letter from Elite Collections. Quote As you have not responded to our previous letters we can only assume that you have no intention of making an effort to clear the sum outstanding. Should you not contact us upon receipt of this letter, an OUTSIDE FIELD AGENT will be instructed to visit your address to discuss this matter further within 1 week. Unquote. I certainly have no wish to have a debt collector banging on my door and this now appears to be a form of intimidation. Any suggestions as to how I should now deal with this threat. Thanks
  11. Hi Many thanks to all who have commented. I have decided to ignore the last letter from the debt collectors. Will wait now to see what transpires.
  12. Hi Legal Assistant. Up to date position is as outlined in my message of 9th June UKPC have passed the matter on to debt collecting firm Elite Collections who have written twice to me, the second letter enclosing photographic evidence and threatening legal action if I don't pay up.
