  1. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'm happy to engage with Mercedes lease company?
  2. if its OK, once I've received the inevitable response, I'll copy and pate that over to their "parking dept" by email and post. Ultimately they will lose out on two lease contracts for the next two years. Due to not even having the courtesy to contact me before paying the 'invoice' after being told clearly it was in dispute and not to pay it.
  3. No only i'm insured to drive the vehicle. Mercedes are after me renewing lease on a new vehicle and I've even had a demo for the weekend. The salesman was very upset yesterday when I told him Mercedes wouldn't be getting any more of my business! Had an email today saying they are investigating the issue, but I still think it will not effect the outcome as Mercedes have already paid the bill!
  4. I've today cancelled my direct Debit with the lease company and set up a standing order for payment. Even after the conversation with the lease company informing them the fine was in dispute and not to pay it, apparently its an automated system. I'll email a copy of the letter that was sent to the lease company, for future reference for other people. I've been told by the lease company that not paying the fine will result in bad credit against my business. letter to my car finance company!!.pdf
  5. Just a little update from this issue, had no contact at all from Indigo to date 24.02.18 However received a letter today from the lease company to inform me they have paid the fine!!! I'm fuming, I actually called them a few weeks ago to inform them that this was in dispute and under no circumstances to pay the fine if contacted by Indigo. I've spoken to the lease company today, and they have confirmed the conversation a few weeks back to not pay the fine. However they are now investigating the issue and I'm sure we can all imagine the outcome. The fines department is a separate department apparently. I'll have to wait the three to five working days they take to deal with this, but i'm not hopeful. I will cancel the direct debit with them and start a standing order to stop the extra £100 they have paid. Not a happy outcome, or what I was expecting.
  6. I can't actually remember seeing a pay and display machine? Unless its inside the station? Just so everyones aware, this was a genuine mistake, I always pay for parking, the industry I work in requires that I use online payments for everything with apps like Ringo etc, I have accounts for the Dartford Crossing auto tolls and the London congestion charge. Im not sure when the new road layout was built in and around the station. If I get time I will have another look up there for a machine, but I'm 100% certain I've not missed any signs.
  7. Yes I had a very good look around yesterday in that area and around the station. There were no signs at the entrance or exit to the area, regarding parking. The only other sign was on the opposite side and this was for railway employees only and had one small sign. There are two entrance to this area as its also the only exit from the station for buses which enter through a different entrance, again at this entrance there is no signs regarding parking, only that its for buses only.
  8. Very interesting read, hopefully mine will time out before such a decision is made. However I think the parking companies are in for a very difficult time if the think that this will be easy for them. I'm going to go to the area my ticket was enforced in and photograph the signage and I'll also put a pic up of the packet the ticket came in a-fixed to the wind screen. Great source of help and guidance so far, thank you all who have helped.
  9. I have it scanned but only on my mobile and it doesn't give me the option to blank out the personal information.
  10. Spoke to the lease company, they have not been contacted by Indigo and as the ticket was fixed to windscreen it is my responsibility to engage with the company. They would not receive the parking ticket themselves directly. They have also placed a note on my account that they are not to make any payment on my behalf. I also have a copy of the transcript with my lease company emailed to me.
  11. I'm sure they would have to contact me before taking any extra payment. Or at least notify me of the charge.
  12. ticket states as follows Penalty Notice This car park is regulated by the terms and conditions of parking displayed at the car park in accordance with Rail Bye law 14, by entering the car park you have agreed and are contacted to be legally bound by the terms and conditions.
  13. yes ticket clearly states Penalty Notice. Breach Code :1 Failing to display a valid ticket or voucher. Plastic sticky sleeve also states Penalty Notice.
  14. On Dec 21st at a Kent railway station I parked in an area that has always to my knowledge been free to park (I have lived in the area all my life) Its residential and has diagonal bays. Upon my return I have a Penalty Notice stuck to the wind screen of my car. I have checked and signage is at best very difficult to see. I did some reading and am awaiting a letter from Indigo, to date 07/02/18 I have received nothing and am wondering what happens next. The vehicle ticketed is a company lease and is through my personal business. Any help would be appreciated.
  15. So why did they remove the second loan I took out with them? I fail to understand why if a loan was re-payed on time in full why under the new guidelines all Wonga activity on my CF should stay. My financial status is no different from the first loan taken out in Jan to the second taken out later in the year. It seems Wonga are picking and choosing which loans to remove from CF which surely makes the whole of your argument redundant. I could understand if any bad information was retained but the fact that Wonga openly advertised that PDL were a good thing makes a case for removal of all loans paid on time. Halifax have stated that they view a PDL as they would any other type of loan and it alone would not make you ineligible for a mortgage with them, of course multiple loans every month would have an effect but its really only the last 18 months to two years thats is looked at closely.
  16. I'm having a similar battle with Wonga over a loan taken out this time last year for the very purpose of improving my credit file. It seems they are happy to remove some loans if they feel you became inelgible under the new guidelines. My argument is one they advertised that taking the PDL would improve my credit rating and also that my financial statue was no different for the first loan hence under the new guidelines I wouldn't have been eligible. Im finding they just keep repeating that they have to report the correct information to the CRA's, however when I challenge them on the removal of the second loans details from my credit file they don't seem to have an answer. I'm wondering if there is a cut off date for older loans which the new guidelines don't apply to? i can confirm 100% that a PDL will effect your ability to obtain a mortgage, 1 may scrape through but multiple loans would make it near on impossible to get a mortgage, likewise multiple betting transactions.
  17. i had a similar problem with Amex many years ago, in the end a call and letter from a solicitor was enough for them to refund the cheques. i even had an interview with a representative in Las Vegas who was like their in house police. Very intimidating and unnecessary.
  18. OK so an update to my PDL saga. After taking out a second PDL with Wonga I was informed a few weeks later that under the new guidelines I would not have been accepted for the loan. This despite a gleaming credit file with no late payments or defaults. Wonga informed me that I would have to pay no interest on the PDL, and after its repayment it would be removed from my credit history. This was completed by Wonga very quickly and no trace of the PDL shows on my credit file. I then contacted Wonga about my first PDL taken out in January 2014 with the sole purpose of improving my credit score as advertised. Which we all know to be inaccurate now. After a shirt email exchange Wonga infromed me that they couldn't remove the loan from my credit history as they have a duty to report factual and accurately all such information???? Which then ask the question why did they delete the second PDL from my credit report? I am continuing to have contact with them but feel I have hit a brick wall with them now as they just repeat the same message regarding the first loan. If anyone has any idea how to progress with this, address to write to or experience in dealing with Wonga please let me know.
