No-one here advocates debt avoidance. You admit one debt is not statute barred, shouldnt you make an arrangement to pay it off?

Not at all. I just find it strange when someone says something so interesting but doesnt give any details whatsover. How do they know? Where did they find this out from? Bit like next door saying Mr X has been caught with his pants down but not saying WHO Mr X is! -

I thought it simply meant a creditor couldnt enforce the debt. 1. How is that disputing the existence of the debt? 2. How does that mean the debt no longer exists? Can you provide case law please. -

Im confused. How is asking for a copy agreement disputing a debt? Surely you are simply asking for a copy agreement, nothing more. How is that DISPUTING a debt. Even if there isn't an agreement it is still payable is it not? -

"there are actions afoot concerning the main "abusers" of this process". I havent heard anything about this. What action? Who by? Where was this published? I spoke to a mate at the OFT and he said he hadnt heard anything at all about 'plans afoot'. More information and proof please!
