  2. It can be a drawn out process, they delay as much as they can hoping you'll lose interest. I sent my first letter at the back end of last year, only settled this week, but worth the patience and effort.
  3. Read the FAQ's Pete, then read them again and again, they are invaluable, the template letters for each stage of the claim are there , spreadsheets for working out the interest etc etc. Even a basic court bundle that you can include with your own claim. It seems daunting at first but well worth the effort, Bankfodder said in one of his threads this is not a get rich quick scheme, it involves a lot of hard work, but its worth it in the end. Keep asking questions you are unsure of but try and do a bit of research in the relevent sections of the site, you will usually find what you need to kn
  4. Cheers Villa fan, i''m LFC fan myself but have a small affinity with Villa cos my favourite player used to Patrick Berger, gutted when he left.
  5. Thanks, Charley, made up, just ckecked my account online, cheque has been paid in this afternoon and funds will be available on 21st May.
  6. Recieved a letter today offering to settle up for the full amount including costs following a conversation between myself and an Abbey representative on Monday. I think I might just accept, what do you think? Yeeeesssssssssss!!! I can change my username now to In The Black. I know I could probably pursue it further regarding working hours, personal costs, interest and all that but all I ever really wanted was my charges back. Will confirm settlement officially when the cash goes into my account.
  7. Cheers, I was going to ask for the full amount anyway, they offered me £1700 a couple of months back which I obviously refused, it is just that they have to submit their evidence to the judge by next monday (21st) and they clearly want to settle before that, just wondered if there was some particular procedure that I should adhere to in response. Cheers, ITR
  8. Hi everyone, court date is 4th June, just putting the final touches to my court bundle and I've recieved a phone call from Abbey wanting to negociate a settlement and they wanted ME to tell them what is a realistic figure that I require, they actually owe me £3,474 which I want the lot!! I told him I would discuss this with my wife over the weekend but really just wanted some advice off you guys as to what I should do next. Cheers ITR
  9. Believe me, if its unbreakable, I'll break it. Thanks ever so much, ITR

  12. Hi everyone, just about to start preparing my court bundle, been looking at the court bundle thread with the zip file attached, do I print out all the 'relevent case details' section, also the links to the websites that are included don't work. cheers ITR
  13. Thats brilliant mate, thanks ever so much, I'm not really a wizard on the PC and this site has got so vast I find it difficult to navigate around it to find all the info that I require, thanks once again. Red.
  14. Thanks Michael, do they have another time limit to respond to me or is it just a matter of sending them the rejection letter and then waiting for the Allocation questionnaire to arrive off the court.
