  1. last April (2007) i received around £1800 for reclaiming some bank charges on my Halifax current account. due to being a student and degenerate.... and compounded by their unfair charging policy, was poor enough to be charged many times more from April 07 until the present day. my questions: - can i claim twice? i'm pretty sure i didn't sign anything saying i couldn't. - this test case in the courts.. when will it be decided? weeks? months? by Christmas? - is there any point in claiming now while the case is currently ongoing? from what i was told by Halifax, they are freezing claims. so do i wait for the case to be decided? - last time i claimed, i used a 3rd party. the guy was called Rob and he handled many of these bank charges cases for a fee of 25% of the total charges being claimed. i thought this was a good deal since i had no idea how to claim. i've lost his contact details. do you know anyone who provides a similar service? (sorry for asking you to spam!) ok ty for any forthcoming help. god i hate the Halifax. they ring me up on the phone to say i am £42.61 overdrawn. it's because you ****s charged me!
  2. hi. my 1st post on these forums. i have a few questions and think this thread is the best place since the OP is in a similar situation to me... 1 - i claimed about £1800 back and received it in April 2007. since then i have incurred about £1000 of further charges. am i eligible to claim for a 2nd time? 2 - any idea when htis court case ruling will be made? April? May? December ? 3 - when it is made.... any idea % wise of the chances of the judge ruling that bank charges are allowed to be reclaimed? ok thanks to anyone for any advice that may be forthcoming. Nick.
