  1. Hi The debit is a genunie debit if i remember correctly its a credit card debit i have not got the paper work here with me at work, and I have been paying the sum of £10 per month to Rockwell which I beleve is one of there subsidury outfits since oct 2007, but now it seems thay are trying to get me to increase the amount i pay as thay seem to think £10 pm is not enough however its as much as i can afford. After posting last night i went and looked at the guidelines on Debit Collection on the OFT website and it would seem that thay have allready broken one of these guidelines as when i spoke to there agent on the phone he was encorageing me to get a loan or take out more debit to pay them off and this is a no no. 2. Hi I have a debit that i have been paying at £10 per month to one of there subsidurys now for a few years my financial situation has not chainged infact my pay as come down due to accpting a pay cut to save jobs. I got a letter off them a few weeks ago so i called them to let them know i was paying this debit allready. Any way the person i got on the phone started saying that that wanted more even asked me if i could get a loan of cash from some one to pay the loan off ( I thought this was illigal under OFT guidelines) any way thay sent me a income sheet that i filled in showing i had £83 per month left after paying all my other stuff so thay then sent another sheet asking for more infomation on how i get to my figures but right at the end thay ask for my full bank infomation (thay must think i came off the last banana boat if thay think i am going to give them that). Effectivly it seems thay are going to attempt to try and bully me into increasing my payment even though i cannot afford to. Can any one here offer advice on what i can do to get them off my back and continue to pay as i am now, obvioulsy i dont want them to start taking out CCJ's allthough as i have been paying them i would think thay may have a problem getting a judgement to sitck. REgards Cliff c
  3. Hi sillygirl1 I thought there would be no way that thay could take out another CCJ and thay have not gone to the CC to have the CCJ amended to show them as the new collectors, as happend when the CCJ collections was transfered to HL legal and collections from Geffory Parker Bourne, I did not know that I could apply to the court to effectively get the Debit removed because of there actions. Thanks for this advice I will await there responce to my complaint about them to the Finacial Ombusdman or if i get any further corispondance from them i will go along the route above. Regards Cliff C
  4. Hi This is only my 2nd post here allthough I have made use of the excelent information provided here on a few occasions, I have a CCJ against me for a debt with Kays Lifestyle (Shop Direct) this was made in Nov 2005 and allthough the original collection company has chainged once, i have made the agreed payments on time every month since the judgement. However in April this of this year i got a letter from Fredrickson International saying i was not paying this debit off so I called them and told them that i have been paying this via the CCJ since the above date, and i sent them copys of the CCJ as evidance that the CCJ exsted, I have since had many letters and phone calls, then on Sautrday I got a letter from there solicitor MR Bryain Carter saying if i did not pay in 14 days then that would be taking me to court and add the usual fees, now i am assuming as a CCJ exisits on this debit thay cannot take me to Court again, however i called the number on the letter thinking it would be taking me to his offices but not it was to fredricksons. I had a very heated conversation with the agent on the phone, and then hung up. I have today sent the documents (copys) to Mr Carter and i have also logged a compliant with the Finacial Ombudsman againt Fredricksons. But is there any thing else i can do should the above not resolve the case and also from those here who are more legaly trained can i be taken to court again as there is a CCJ on this debit allready. Regards Cliff C
  5. Hi Locutus Thanks for the advice I will start a thread via your link Regards Cliff C
  6. Hi I am having problems with these jokers as well again not on as vodaphone issue thay are trying to get me to pay a debit that I am allready paying on a CCJ i have had no letters from the company i am paying to say the CCJ has been moved from them and i have sent fredrickson now on 3 occasions via mail, fax and e-mail copys of the CCJ and now i have had the 14 days letter from them now i am no legal expert here but I would think you cannot be taken to court twice for the same debit and have another CCJ on it i will be defending it if thay do i would think that the bulk center may read the mail that i send them Cliff C
