it was my debt sold onto crapbot the other dca didnt put it on my credit file but day it was transferred to crapbot they did...then they sent this..

had a letter from a well known agency

anyway gist of it is

dear.....

we're sorry we have made a mistake

your account was recently transferred to ....from ...due to an error we started reporting this account on your credit file. we have informed the credit reference agencies to remove this account from your credit file which should be completed with the next 3 weeks...sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you

now i know they trashed my credit file because i saw it...so do i have any redress over it or is it because they are now removing it lets all be friends and ignore it? any ideas?

i received an email from bt yesterday telling me my 'deal' for broadband was coming to and end and they had 'special offers especially for me' on looking all the deals were more expensive than the one i had so did a price comparison check and booked broadband with another supplier to change on 8 mar....then had an email from bt saying i had broken the contract by leaving early!!! despite the email saying my deal was ending...anyway it transpires it is ending a month early 8 mar instead of the 8 may...now i dont mind paying for month which seems reasonable but they also want me to pay 55 quid for the router which i never wanted....offered to return said router but no...now does anyone think that this price is disproportionate and i should stand my ground and not pay it or pay it and say never again!!!

just to update thread now the 23rd of feb..have heard nothing from the courts mcol still exactly the same defence filed then nothing...case still stayed nothing from lowlifes

thank andy i did check mcol when it came back up this afternoon, it shows no change on it since i submitted defence way back....i did ask the guy 3 times he was adam ant that it was defo stayed....

The county court business centre, is the one listed in their directions questionnaire

yeah i posted it on here a few pages back with docs and there were not any apart from that...no default notices, no statements of accounts etc...the only thing they have supplied so far is a copy of an agreement.....i have asked for all the information but nothing else has come back from them

nope no docs supplied only the ones i have posted earlier....perhaps you right perhaps it is a ploy to get me to ring and try to arrange a payment with them.....err no chance....

now i havent heard from the court in months, the mcol is now down!!!

i actually got my dates wrong thought is was 8 years ago!!! it was actually back in 98 some 18 years ago!!! doesnt time fly in dca land!!! surprised after all the crap i gave them over this that they had the nerve to even try again!!!

oh yeah, by accepting their wonderful offer the 6 years would restart and they would either sell on or start demanding the full amount with menaces!!! mine was statute barred back in 1998!!! havent heard from them since 98 and now today!!! you have to admire their persistence and their downright underhand methods!!!

so they are bringing out the big guns!!!! was expecting the letter before action!!! but it seems no...instead it has moved desks...is this the third desk on the right or the second on the left?? lowells are without a doubt a right shower of sh*te!!!

have been getting letters from lowells for an alleged debt to 3 mobile.

..for about 400 quid.

..which is strange as paid by direct debit never late never ever missed a payment.

...have ignored lowells and they have now passed to bpo!!

i too have received a cleverly worded letter from them today 'black saturday'!!! for a debt which they said was for 1300 which i could clear for a 100 quid!!! only thing is it was statute barred nearly 8 years ago!! 10 out of 10 for trying though!!!

My daughter whose oldest child is 18 and has now left school decided to take a year out and work and get a job...he earns 13000 per annum..as she recently had to finish work 3 months ago because of stress she applied for housing benefit...

She sent them all the information and today has been told out of a housing allowance for the area of 91.80p week she has been awarded 16 pound a week towards the rent for herself and her 11 year old child also living there along with the 18 yr old...i

Is it correct that the local authority can make her 18 year old pay the majority of the rent on the property? as this seems to be the case....he is not the tenant she is yet it seems from their figures that because he is earning he is expected to make up the huge shortfall can anyone confirm these figures are correct?
