hi the CAB have put an appeal for us for IB but not sure if they will want to help now after what i said to them on friday what they dont understand is my wife as depression and other problems and is now at home in bed feeling bad after all this and i feel so helpless and its not that i have not tried to sort this out or find work i must email and phone 20 leads a day but no one wants to seem to help

quick update at my friends house as my electric as gone off due to job seekers i phoned them on tuesday they said they sent some money on friday nothing had arrived so phoned them up they said yes your claim is sorted and we will send a giro to you for £39 ? thats from the 6th of march until now that cant be right so i blew a gasket and told the bloke on the phone to f..k off and the i told the CAB the same as they didnt want to now either they said they cant claim legal aid for doing it so in other words not interested so we are sat at home with hardly any food and no electric and now had enough

i had rossendales after us for Council tax debt after a long time i sorted it with the boss at the Council to pay monthly but he said i have to pay rossendales there money as if it was not for them they would not of found me which was £67 so i paid the council it so they could forward it to them just so i could pay monthly payments but they wont get it as i am going to add the debt to my bankruptcy only wanted topay the £67 to keep them of my back

hi yes we are getting there slowly but it will take time and we have to save up to pay to go bankrupt i just cant beleave how bad the last 7 months have been its seems to be one thing after another but theres plenty in the same mess as us and where i live domestic violence as gone up 100% with people who are in debt and arguie over it

hi sorry i have not been on but we had everything cut off as we could not pay the direct debits and still in a mess now we have not had any money for nearly 4 weeks but we should get some this week hopefully and we have been to the CAB and there are very good and helping us out a lot and the appeal as gone off as the women at CAB said my wife should not of failed and says we will win the case so thats good also they are helping us sort out all the debts even the house we had reposessed again sorry for my bad spelling not very good at reading and writing

update been to CAB no joy so put a claim in for JSA which takes 2 weeks cant get a crisis loan wont give us one so sat here waiting for the elctric to go as we only have £1.20 left of the emerancy had to cancel dierect debits as theres no money to pay them so real fed up

hi my wife as been on Incapacity Benefit for 2 years and had a medical 6 weeks ago that they sent her for and today we had a letter saying they have stopped all her benefits even the rent as she is fit for work but shes not so now we have no money at all to live on and all they keep saying is appeal but this takes ages and i am not very good and writing letters plus we have no money at all anyone got any ideas of what we can do ?

hi i am not very good at writing or spelling so please bare with me but my partner as an house she left 7 months after losing her job to sickness and still on the sick now and since then she as had council tax still charging her for empty house which the bailiffs are coming to collect from where she lives now so still trying to sort that out but they still have not taken the house yet after all this time and it sits empty so we are going to hand the key back to them which will take 6 weeks for them to sort out then the council will stop charging her for the tax also when they sell the house i think they will be about £60k oweing plus all her other debts to pay and wanted to know if there is anyone i can call for advice i dont like bailiffs at all most are bullies and just no that when they come to my house for her i will lose it and get banged up again so any help or number to call would be great PS my parnter as not paid the mortgage for over 7 months but they still have repossed it thats why we are doing it this way

ok i might just pay the bailiffs to save any problems they have not put much on top of the bill only about £30

ok as soon i have the duplicate from the council and have the money to pay i just do it online then phone the council to say its been paid but no the bailiffs as the council should inform them and the council cant say they wont except it or any rubbish will they

hi chris today we asked for a crisis loan and i have asked the council for the duplicate bills of what is oweing as you said to pay the council on there web site once this is done can the bailiffs still come after for the money they have added on top or not?

lol i wont i have had these in the past at my house over fines but posted this here as i thought the laws might of changed

Never underestimate a bailiff lol you dont know me and i can assure who ever comes wont be getting anything from my house or garden will let you know when or if it happens PS most bailiffs are bullies

hi you keep saying special "game" with special rules but if there not allowed in my house i cant really see what they can do and why cant my dog be outisde in the garden he is every day

hi thanks again for the reply only spoke once on phone yesterday which was a waste of time and when they do come they wont get in my house i had this happen years ago with bristow debt collectors sent the biggest blokes ever but they never got past me and wont this time also my dog is a rottie and i dont think they will come in my garden when hes outside

update just phoned the council they told me that now a van notice as been sent they cant take the debt back so fell out with on the phone will wait now for them to come but theres one thing for sure they will have to kill me first to get in to my house

hi no the £160 is what she owes for new council tax since she left we spoke to the mortgage compnay today they have not taken her to court yet so shes decided to just hand the keys back to them instead of waiting

hi thanks for the reply the debt it for £456.07 for rossendales and the council said theres another debt for £160 plus half the council tax is being charged for the empty house every month and yes she as been paying council tax where she lives now for the last 7 or 8 months also she gets incapacity benefit

sorry just posted this as a thread then seen this:confused: hi can anyone please help my partner had a letter from rossendales about council tax she is on the sick with depression and other illness and moved out of her house 7 months ago as she could not afford topay the mortgage and moved in with me 300 miles away but they still have not took the house yet any way cut a long story short i phoned rossendales and spoke to them offering £10 a month the bloke said ok i have set the first debt to £50 a month and the other one to £100 i said she cant pay that much so he told us to send them details of income by the end of march if not there coming to take stuff i said you cant just come in my house he told me he had some warrant that he could so i phone the council where she owed the money they said htey cant do nothing now its with rossendales and also told us they are charging her half the amount of her normal tax every month for the house being empty that she left 7 months ago what i want to know is i read somehwere that if your on sickness the council have to take the debt back from rossendales is this true? PS sorry for my poor writing and spelling any help would be great
