  1. Hi Soo43 god luck with your defence.I think I will declare myself bankrupt.I will possibly have the fees next week.Personally I can only see things getting worse ! Ronan
  2. Hi Lucyrocket.I have the same problem with Northern Rock and Wallers solicitors.Like you I have been served with a charging order and this was done before my objection had reached the court. I cannot undrstand why the court has agreed to this charge so quickly and not allowed my offer of payment to be discussed. Today I have written to Wallers asking for the original CCA and also a letter informing them of my objection to this charge of my property. Like you I am frantically seeking advice on this matter. I will send my objection to the Land registry today , however cosidering the bias in these casing I can only wait for my case on April 7th. Jus like you a jump of a high bridge is looking better each day. Kind Regards Ronanpc
  3. Hi , sorry for delay in getting back.I have approx. £6000. equity in my house.I have had to change to an interest only mortgage which has helped clear my arrears.
  4. Thank you very much for all your advice.I have sent details to the court.MBNA sent me a statutory demand and refused payments in instalments. They are insisting in filing for personal bankrupcy.Northern Rock have applied to the Land Registry and I have received this application today in the post.I have to lodge my objection within the next few days.I was considering going bankrupt myself only problem is I have'nt got the fees !!!.Not too sure what my next step should be .These debts are in my name and the mortgage is in both mine and my wifes name. There is not much equity in the house.I need to stop these bulies asap. Once again thank you to all for you help so for far Ronan
  5. Hi . very new to this debt issue but having to learn fast.I would be grateful for any advice . I had a Judgement against me in favour of Northern Rock for just under £6000.This happened on an 24th.I have just sent back an offer of payment to the court , but today Northern Rock have wrote to me telling me they are seeking a charging order on my property. Not sure what to do now.I have another creditor MBNA who are threatning to make me bankrupt.I am at the stage now where everything and everyone is closing in on me and some practical easy to follow advice is much needed.
