I know someone who used their card at a well known shop and subsequently had their card and pin cloned. It can happen anywhere.

If you were not given a satisfactory reason I feel you were quite justified in not giving out your address in this situation. There are far to many people in this country with our personal details who do not take good enough care of them. If I cannot trust my own goverment not to give out/lose personal information how can I trust a company whose sole interest is in making money. I do believe this "Big Brother" society is going to far.

was it a consolidation loan or a new one for a big purchase etc?

I went to a frankie and bennys restaurant yesterday night and found a staple in my burger. This cut the top of my mouth leaving around a 1cm cut. This object didn’t look very clean and I am currently waiting upon a doctor’s appointment to see if I need a tetanus injection. They replaced my meal and omitted that and the original meal from the bill. My mouth was very sore but I did not wish to make a fuss and ruin the night for my friends. I was made to fill my details in on a form, there were a few vague comments already filed in i.e. party size but most of these were incorrect. I was informed by the manager that they would fill the rest of the details in later when I left. I was offered a half hearted apology and yes the meal price was omitted from the bill but this does not help the fact my night was spoilt by this, nor does it compensate properly for the injury sustained. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as to how to procede further. I didnt make a big fuss at the time as i didnt want to ruin the night for my friends.
