The ebay aco**** has been around for a couple of year with 59 100% possitive feedback, but the paypal account was not verified. My intial thaughts about the police was that they were trying to fob me off but i've tried 4 different times and with different people i keep getting the same answers- "its a civil dispute"

I have spoken to an ebayer who left feedback in dec but the transaction went through fine but the person lived in wales. I have also been speaking to the people who have been scammed but nothing realy productive has come from it yet, were all pretty confused about who to go to as were being sent round in circles by paypal and the police.

Police do not want to get involved they say it is a civil dispute

I did try withdrawing my funds but paypal limited my account because they thought i was doing money laundering. I managed to withdrawn around £1000 previous to the reversal but that has just made my account become -£1000

Hi, I have recently sent over £6000 worth of goods to this one ebayer. I had telephone comunication with him aswel and he has been paying me with paypal. Yesterday morning i recieved an email from another seller on ebay saying that he has just been scammed by this same buyer. I checked my paypal account and it said that i had reversals for all of the transaction, so that sum of over £6000 has been taken from my paypal account and all the goods have been sent off to this buyer. His telephone has now gone dead and not replying to his emails. He DID NOT have a confirmed address. I've tried to get paypal to help me with my situation but they are not doing anything for me. I am not the only person whos been scammed by this guy theres another 3 or 4. Does anyone have any ideas how i would go about getting my money? Paypal said that the money had been reversed because the payment was not authorised. I have all the tracking numbers and they have been signed for aswel. Any advise on how to go about dealing with this situation would be great. Thank You
