Hmmm, well i popped into the bank today and it was explained to me that my bank account has tried to pay off my phone bill but can't as there was no money in there, as soon as money was transferred into the account it paid the debt off as it knew it had to. My phone is working now so i assume it did just that!

Okay i recently used the halifax online banking to transfer £100 from one bank account to another (all halifax) the bank account i sent it from took away £100 obviously from my available balance and my balance but my other bank account has only increased by £100 in the balance margin, not the available balance which means i can't get it out. Now im a bit worried as i did a transfer test of £1 and that instantly shows up in the recieving bank account on both the balance and the available balance. Im a student and lack of money is worrying, is this a problem or does the bank need to time to transfer money higher then a certain number?
