Wise words, no-one should gain from someone elses misfortune. Out of interest, where do you buy your clothes from and ever noticed who makes them? A british firm paying the minimum wage? No, they come from a sweatshop in Asia who pay the workers peanuts and they also have appalling conditions. Cheap clothes though!. Yep, your a hypocrite!

Every debtor I've encountered has lied. Plus most if not all the posts on CAG show how they lie, again and again. Additionally, creditors get lied to.

Phone em up. They are OK.
-
in addition, pay the £430 you dont dispute immediately.

Might find a few debtors available if they called it....

Yes, that is very funny indeed. Not as funny as giving the debtors phone number to a defective powerdialler.

DCA refusing to provide credit agreement
MrSensible replied to crinanjon's topic in Debt Collection Agencies
Since when was, 'we dont have the agreement' the same as refusing? I think you need to retrat that statement. Not the done thing to make false allegations on this site. -
Or someone who simply wants to tell a pack of lies about creditors?
-
Does the bear ever say anything else except, 'subscribing'?

No.

Moorcroft answer to CCA request
MrSensible replied to Justforfun's topic in Debt Collection Agencies
If you find that funny I think you need to see someone. Not exactly Peter Cook is it? -
Excellent news. About time somebody took a stand. All we ever here about is how the poor unfortunate debtor was encouraged to spend money because of easy credit. Now they are moaning because they cant get it! As for that lawyer, GET A LIFE. How on earth will it affect his credit rating? What a knowledgeable lawyer he is...not.

VERY sensible indeed. All debors ever whinge about is how it wasnt THEIR fault, it was the nasty company giving them loads of money. Now they are whinging because they cant get any!! You just cant win!
-
Easiest thing is to pay it off.

Money Taken... Help needed urgently!
MrSensible replied to wibble83's topic in Debt Collection Agencies
Can those accusing a highly reputable company of theft retract their statements and apologise please. Comments like that leave this forum open to legal action and closure. How appalling! -
No, being unable to provide a CCA does not mean defaults should be removed. The debt is still due and payable. Why not pay these debts up? That will your file is updated to satisfied!

Pick a DCA any DCA (Natwest incompetence)
MrSensible replied to indebtstudent's topic in NatWest Bank
One suggestion. Pay the debt in full! This usually ensure no further letters or phone calls. -
Mistakes happen, so what? You never made one?
-
The debt HAS been acknowledged. The law is specific on this.

default on my file from olympia capital/thames credit
MrSensible replied to welly_59's topic in Capital One
Easiest thing is to pay it in full and it will be classed as 'satisfied'. Actually to keep the default they do not need to 'prove' the debt is legitmate. -
DCA and Mistaken Identity - I hope - Help please!
MrSensible replied to darren.reading's topic in Debt Collection Agencies
Simply phone them up and ask what address the 'debtor' was resident at and give your wifes dob to check if theres is different. Probably the original debtor gave the creditor a false forwarding address, (yours). This happens quite often. Debors are crafty and people like you suffer! -
The original default was satisfied as it was sold on. contact the new creditor and arrange to pay this debt promptly.
-
The money is still o/s so totally acceptable for them to ask it be paid. OFT fully approve of this, see their guidance notes. Why didnt you pay this years ago?
