  1. Hi Bank fodder,Thank you for your reply. I don't believe there is any overlapping for the bills the £400 will be monies owed to SSE and I am confidentish I haven't been overcharged (don't undertand Kwh) and the £112 is for my first DD with Cooperative. But I'm not in a position to pay out £512. I could enter into a repayment with SSE for the final bills but then I will be financially worse off than before I switched as I was only paying £120pm for Gas & Elect with SSE unless I only repay £8pm therefore breaking even.   2. Hi Everyone, I'm looking for some advice and also a platform to rant. it started 4 months ago when I got a switching quote from Cooperative energy and I decided to switch from SSE to them. I received diddly squat from Cooperative energy from then till Monday and also nothing from SSE until Monday. Monday I received a final bill from SSE totaling £400 for both Gas & Elect.   3. I currently rent my home from Home group in the North East. I have received my annual rent increase letter. However it has been brought to my attention we are paying a higher band of rent than a friend of mine who lives in the same size house just 10 houses away, on the same estate but different street. Now I'm not talking a few quid difference I'm talking £30 per week difference which i think is extortionate.   4. Hi, I'm hoping someone could advise. I have been a Vodafone customer for 6yrs and thus far had 3 seperate contracts. The 2 previous contracts I had insurance and up to now thought I had insurance on my current contract. I dropped my IPhone earlier today and now it won't turn on. I rang Vodafone Customer Services and got through to a very abrupt unhelpful CS rep who just told me I had no insurance and they couldn't help and was told to sit tight till September and I could upgrade.   5. I have no problem going elsewhere. They were utterly useless and their customer service is appauling it took 3 emails just to get them to send my login details but if I hadn't bugged them I'd still be waiting now, hence why I feel I am not liable for the cancellation fee and due to the fact they were incompetent to do the simplest of tasks I wouldn't trust them to insure anything!

I have sent them a complaint via email stating:I’m shocked and disgusted to receive a letter from yourselves stating I now have to pay £42.70 for cancellation of my policy.I set this policy up 1/08/2013 I received an email on 01/08/2013 welcoming me to the policy but there was no policy number or login details. I never received any login details after this and no letter detailing this either. I did receive a letter 05/09/2013 stating I was in debt to yourselves because I cancelled my direct debit.   7. I took out a home insurance policy with kwik fit 01/08/2013. I received a welcome email but this didn't contain login details or policy details but in this email it stated i woiuld receive these in the next 7 days, this didn't happen, and life carried on I work full time and have 2 kids so i totally forgot about it.   10. payments already stopped, its frustrating becuase I have managed to clear all my debt barr this one and they are infuriatingly slow at any and everything.....no doubt on purpose so consumers just give up and pay!I'm moving house in 3 weeks and don't want to give them my new address so wanted this sorted by then, if it's not should i update them?

  14. It was a personal loan with black horse and marlin bought the debt about 18 months ago. I haven't cca'd or sar'd them. I know the cca I'm looking for a copy of the original credit agreement which I can easily compare to my original copy but what will I be looking for in the sar? I keep my own spreadsheet detailing payments made and balance left which matches the 6 monthly statement they send out so I know there's no extra charges being added.
  15. a little update, I did F&F lloyds for the credit card and overdraft I only offered 30% and this was accepted so thats £56 for the overdraft and £360 for the credit card saving me a total of £972. I just want rid of them so I'm happy to pay that. The lady at the bank rang me and told me a letter is in the post confirming their acceptence of the settlement figure and they agreed to the terms i set out. The 1 company I have had trouble with is Marlin Financial Services/ME IV - the only offer they are willing to accept is 95%, where do i go from here?
  16. hi just wondered where everyone was with their tax credit overpayment? I had a similar experience but i was living with my partner and I had neglected to tell them which i fully disclosed to them and i went through the final tally stage etc... and then i had to ring and give my income and expenditure which because I'm on a DMP didn't leave anything. The lady from HMRC told me I'd receive a letter in a few days and that was Feb 2013, I've heard nothing since.
  17. hi, british gas did this to me. I was living in a 2 bedroom 3rd floor flat by myself. I rarely had the heating on i was out most the day and night (I had 2 jobs and went to college) it was for the months march - june (not so cold months) and I lived in the top floor so i gained most of the below floors heating and then a £600 bill landed. I couldn't believe it!! I contested it and they ended up putting a card meter in but they said I was still liable.   18. thanks for the advice! with regards to the Black horse debt this has been sold to ME IV they are recorded as the owner of the debt on my credit file, I received a letter about a year ago from black horse stating ME IV were taking over the account. So should the F&F be sent to ME IV? Yes all discounts were offered after the reclaims. I think they just want rid of me know and I them.
  19. yes had all PPI from these. Had all statements checked for charges and interest etc all claimed on hence the lowered amounts and yes they all appear on my CRA file except for the 2 orange accounts which don't show as moorcroft they remain as Orange and the amounts differ which i've emailed them about a ton of times but they don't seem to get the gist of what I'm trying to say and the Lloyds credit card doesn't state moorcroft on the CRA file is states lloyds same with the overdraft it doesn't state Apex it states Lloyds.   21. Hi me again, I just wanted to update you and also ask for another piece of advice. I recently had an updated Credit File and All in one finance has written off the loan as agreed. Last week my husband and I went to the bank to discuss our finances with them and we were told the All in one finance loan is coming up as a 'derogatory' entry on our credit file, could this be because it was closed off as satisfied? Should i be contacting them and getting them to change this? Although we didn't pay this off as a final settlement figure or anything so is this correc
  22. I have significantly reduced my debt over the last 12 months. This time last year i owed just over £10K now due to writing to my creditors about interest being added and PPI reclaims etc I now owe just over £4000. I have claimed PPI on all where possible and again used this money to reduce the debt. I have checked all debt is enforceable etc.. I am currently in a position to pay off the outstanding debt, I have received some inheritence which I really want to use to finally be debt free. I'm moving home and this would be an ideal time to pay everything
