  1. Hi, most of you probably already know about this, but just incase. I had a letter from a company called Telogram Ltd which read... We are corresponding with you as the authorised agent for .... who have requeted that we make necessary enquiries to establish the current residential address of -you- whose last known address was ..... Our client has an obligation to update their file with data concerning change of addresses. We instructed the major credit reference bureaus to confirm this address or establish a new residence. The information that has supplied by ... indicated that this is the current address for -you-. We would therefore ask you to contact us on 01252 576376 quoting referencen number by -date- so this information can be verified. It basically then goes onto say that if no contact is made then all hell, fire and damnation will be unleashed on you - "this unit will be undertaking outbound telephone calls to various sources including neighbours" - blah blah blah. I did some research on the net and it turns out this is a new version of an old capquest [problem]. They used to send spam letters to people saying they had a message waiting for them that would expire on a certain date and they should contact this number immediately. People have got wise to that, and it looks like they have changed their tatics. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ring these muppets, if you do, they will hound you for the entire popluation of the uk's debt and will NEVER leave you alone.
