"You have to give 30 days' notice to leave Orange, and this starts from the date that the Port Authority Code is issued" I do see this notice period in the contract T&Cs I can read on the Orange website but I no longer have my original T&Cs. Orange have told me it was the same and this 30-day notice is charged by all mobile companies.

After 12 years I'm leaving Orange. Got an iPhone for Christmas:) Orange have sent me my PAC codes to port my number with a letter pointing out the charges I need to pay at the end of my contract in particular the one-month line rental for a one-month notice period. I have been on my current contract for over two-years so well beyond the minimum agreement. Is this extra month charge/ notice period normal when people change suppliers? I've never heard of it before and I don't have my original T&Cs - never had to consider it before because I have stuck with Orange until now. I just want to know my position before I call Orange. Thanks in advance for any help.
