  2. Hi everyone, new to the forum and looking forward to giving my experiences where relevant. My first problem is: I moved to my current address Aug 06. he previous occupants where with Powergen, so i remained with them untill i settled in and had time to look for better deals. I changed my supplier to Souther Electric Nov 06. On 16 Nov 07, i received a letter from Powergen warning me of imminent legal action for an outstanding balance of £90 for period Aug - Nov 06. This was a complete shock as i have no memory of any oustanding balance. I contacted Powergen, who said they had emailed me, but i could not find any record of these. They said they would send me a final bill for the 3 month period of 06 and agreed to cancel the DCA. Today i recieved a 'Intention of Court Action' from a DRA giving me 7 days notice to pay. I again contacted Powergen, who have agreed to cancel this notice till i haver had time to verify this oustanding balance. Question: Do i have to pay this balance as it is over 12 months since the period in question and no correspondence till recently. I may have paid this back then but have no proof as all previous Powergen bills, receipts etc were destroyed when i changed to SE. Look forward to replies
