  1. oh, thx for the info. I assumed when you submit a claim at court or attend you have to have a specific document for i.d. but if that's not the case I appreciate everyones input. Hope I don't run into any problems late into a claim for example.
  2. Hi, can someone tell me what i.d. is acceptable for court? And when you submit your claim or asked to attend a date at court what i.d. do I have to provide? Came here just after I was born over 20 years ago, should've got citizenship a long time ago but right now if I were to attend court or file a claim at court what i.d. would be acceptable? My birth certificate is foreign and I know they won't accept that and I never needed to drive. Even if I applied for citizenship right now it would take a year to sort out (plus £700).
  3. thx for your help, that would be letter k?
  4. b/c of the £5 leeway, on a system I didn't know I was on. I assumed it was still in place and I have the letter mentioning the £5 leeway on the old system. If they sent letters telling me of the change I didn't receive any unfortunately. The only one was recently. Someone with a similar spiraling debt asked about freezing the account: " Barclays account overdrawn" by daftada (sorry I don't enough posts to put url's).
  5. Hi, i'm poor and only have a overdraft of £100. I went £2.77 overdrawn (£102.77) and have been given 4 referral fees of £22 since. I only recently got a letter. I haven't received any others. Here's an example of the old system: " I wish to advise you on 4th July your current account balance was £126.84 overdrawn. As this balance is more than £5.00 above your agreed overdraft limit of £100, a Paid Referral Fee of £30 has been applied to your account. " As you see under the old system I would not be charged a fee since I was under £5. In this new system, which I did not agree to be on, I have been charged more than I can afford to pay back right now and the debts will mount. Can I go to my branch or ring them up and get them to cancel the fees on this condition? If they refuse can I tell them to freeze the account because it is now in dispute? thx
  6. Hi; i'm going to claim paid referral fees from Barclays. I'm currently reading through the FAQ's and reading through another website. I am in not-so-good circumstances right not and not very computer literate, so forgive any typos. I recently got my first £30 referral fee in a long time and fell ought to go ahead and try and get it back, and possibly other fees from way back too. I only have £100 overdraft limit and am not well-off atm. Here is an excerpt of my bill: As you can see, every Friday I go over £100 ( ) but also have money in covering the amount of money going out. For some reason the last time the money came in on the 26th (a Monday!) when it should've been on the same day as I went over £100 (23/11/2007 a Friday). Now I have no money because of Barclays fees. Hope to have an informative time here, any help/advice is appreciated, Regards.
