  1. Hi did you send surlybonds letter to the DCA or barclaycard I'm really getting confused as to where to send the letter, or should it be sent to the DCA if its their name on the credit file.
  2. Thanks for the explaination I am going to keep notes so I do not forget. I sent the first notice to stop them processing my information which they have completely ignored so I am now sending the second notice which SurlyBonds posted and I have also threatened court action if the default is not removed. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
  3. Hi thanks for the reply but I'm quite new to this forum can you please explain who dlc is and what does ppi mean:-? Thanks
  4. Hi All Default was with HSBC for £3400 with illegal charges involved. March 2007 sent letter asking for original copy of default letter as none was received. Had no reply to this letter but hey presto the default was removed from my credit file. Not all good new though in November this same debt appears on my credit file once again with a name not of HSBC but FV-1 who I have had no agreement ever. In November sent the notice to desist processing data. No reply. Today have sent Data Subject Notice. Anyone any ideas if it is legal for FV-1 to even enter this on my credit file.
  5. Hi markj2960 Just read your thread and just had to tell you what happened to me. The Halifax actually took £50.00 out of my daughters account which was her money not mine and used it to bring down the balance of my account. How disgusting is that. Took money out of a 10 year olds account which was how hold she was at the time. The good news recently I took court action against Halifax for excess fees and they settled out of court and paid me £1, 293.00. I should really thank them because if 3 years ago they had not stole my daughters money I would never have took action.
  6. Hi Tilly Thank you very much for that information it has really been a big help. At least I feel I can help my friends now.
  7. Good morning everyone, Does anyone have any information on working tax credits, my friend declared all information on the form 100% correct even told the agency he thought he was being paid too much. They told him he was entitled to more. Now they have decided he has a massive overpayment and has to pay it back within one year. I know nothing about working tax credits is there anywhere I can take a look at information and form and what are his legal rights.
  8. I have been reading all the text on the removal of defaults have found it so interesting. There is one question if someone could help me please with the answer. I defaulted on an HSBC bank account in 2002. On the 1/3/07 HSBC sent me a letter stating the account had been assigned to FV1 on 22/12/06. On the 23/3/07 I asked HSBC to supply with a true copy of default notice or remove the default. No correspondence was ever received from HSBC at all regarding the default but the default was removed from my credit file. Now within the last two weeks FV1 has placed a default on the file stating it had defaulted 15/11/02 and updated it 14/10/07 which was when they must have put the default back on my credit file. Are they allowed to do this and who do I write to get it removed again HSBC or FV1.
  9. Thanks for that will start proceedings immediately.
  10. Hi everyone Found this site earlier this week and think its really great. I'm not good at computers but am still learning it took me ten minutes to work out how to post this thread but I got there eventually. I have had some sucess in claiming back bank charges. Barclays paid back £600.00. Halifax £1219.00. Nat West 344.00. I have taken court action against Monument but of course all cases are on hold at the moment until the High Court decision. I am wondering if I should start proceeding against Lloyds or wait until the decision of the High Court. Any advice on this.
