  8. Hi all, just to let you know I've now got the information as requested back on the 13/03/2006. abbey really drag it out if you let them.(5 letter including last action before) So now to send the request for repayment of charges on monday Just wish realised how important those bank statments were all those years ago ps also reclaiming woolwich charges too.
  9. Hi all, just thought I would tell you about my dealings with welcome. I defaulted on my secured loan about a 1 1/2 years ago also defaulted on the mortgage for a reason "MONEY" and not a enough of it Mortgage Co. have repossessed and welcome have been informed Like I said I haven't paid welcome for about 1 1/2 years I cancelled the DD at the bank and welcome would call once a month for a card payment. Than all of a sudden welcome just took a card payment, no call, letter. So I call my bank saying that a hadn't authorised the payment. I cancelled my electron card so they couldn't take any more payments.DONE How wrong was I the next month again welcome took payment on a now cancelled electron card, so I called the bank again. I was told that because I have a agreement with welcome they could do that, the amount is under welcome's floor limit so they don't need an authorisation code. So I stop using that bank Ac. I pay no money in to it, thinking that this month if they put the card payment through it will just bounce no funds Again how wrong can you be, called the bank again now OD because they have paid welcome because the amount is under welcome's floor limit so they don't need an authorisation code. So this time the banks paid it, well aready reclaiming charges from them. So please been warned that any Company you have an agreement with can help themselfs to your money putting in more hardship without your authorisation be it on your current card, old card or old old card !!!! Any help on this would be great as I'm in hardship now when the house is sold it will cover the mortgage and secure loan so why rob my rent money?

  12. I've just email my MP aswell, well I voted for him twice, lets see what our £120,000 per year gets me.
  13. I remember seeing somewhere I post (maybe here not to sure)how to opt-out of automated decision making proccess used be banks etc.
  14. I sent my DPA request letter yesterday as I can only find the last 2 years statements and just on those charges add up to £1800. Have already setup new account( who already charge me £30 for unpaid dd, get them later), so let the fun begin !!!!!!
  15. You hit the nail on the head there trundlecat these banks are so large that only 1 in 1000 customers try to claim back, which = large profits for them. I also have spoken to friends + family and they just don't believe that you can claim back so brainwashed by big business. Forums like this are a great source of information to open your eyes to get passed what the companies say you can do. I sent my request letter yesterday as I can only find the last 2 years statements and just on those charges add up to £1800. Have already setup new account, so let the fun begin !!!!!!
