hi,,,i gave a months rent in advance, and a weeks deposit. In one week i found i couldnt get along with the LL and so i decided i should leave by giving him a notice period of a week- pre-decided. he says he will return the deposit but not the extra rent(of two weeks) he says rent is always non-refundable. Since this is my first time in london, i hope im not being taken for a ride. please advice if this is right.
