Thanks for all your responses. Still no payment but just wondering what would happen if the offer letter from SC&M was ever presented in court ?

Having agreed the settlement offered by SC & M on behalf of Lloyds twice ! I have as yet not received payment. Is this because Lloyds are so busy or is it delaying tactics by the Solicitors ? I have been waiting six weeks or so. Noddy

I have two claims ongoing with Lloyds. Business a/c for 3044.00 Personal a/c for 4065.00 Lloyds have made no attempt to repay the business charges but have put 750.00 into my personal a/c as a goodwill gesture. However my court claim has as yet not been responded to and judgement day is tomorrow as relevant time has elapsed. I made the claim at my local court so cant do anything online. Is it now a race against time and first past the post ?Once the paperwork is with the court and receipted is that it? and what should I do about the goodwill gesture. Any advice welcome Thanks Noddy

Just looking at the problems experienced by people in the privately rented sector. I know we are protected by the law on a shorthold tenancy but since ive been renting ( some ten years ) every landlord whether represented by an agent or not has been a problem.i.e , never doing essential repairs, entering the premises on a daily basis whilst at work ( quote: ''I own the property'') being convicted of fraud and sent to prison:confused: are just some of the jokers I've come across. To gain a tennancy Im asked to provide character references, copies of bank statements, payslips and more at a landlords whim. Should we not have an agency that represents our interests and ensure we are renting from decent people especialy when our family are involved. Are you fed up moving on when the property is sold on after 12 - 18 months? Could we not have the security of short leases, say 3 -5 years ? Just me thinking aloud, though would be interested in others thoughts Noddy
