I had a phone call just after i opened it asking for me to debit £100 into it.. i think it was so it had a balence, so i did but thats all i ever had. no letters nothing except that one statement right at the beginning. Im stuuck at work so i cant ring them at the moment. was going to tonight but i dont know really what to say- its not like i can pay them at the moment Ive just handed a grand ober to my uni for fees this year! as from tonight im unemployed and broke! any ideas?

hey! im a student who opened the famed HSBC account whilst at uni... this was 6 months ago now. Well ive had 1 statement in that time... I went into my 0% interest overdraft by quite a lot (£800) and today i got a letter from Metropolitan Collection Services Limited saying if I do not pay i will be taken to court. It all come out of the blue to me and a bit of advice will be graet. I am the sterotypical student living off £3 a day! please help!
