Hi thanks everyone for all the info... o2 say they owe me £73 and it will be put back into my bank within a few days... so fingers crossed i will be getting it and they are not taking anymore from my bank account... answer to one question... yes my son was recieving text to his phone after it got moved to pay as you go... but for some reason it's stopped working now anyway... nothing major though as he has another number mandy

Hi, i canceled my o2 account in october... i received a pac code to move the sim onto pay as you go... they still taking my money... i emailed then a few weeks ago and got a reply back saying my contract was NOT cancelled... so i got angry and sent another one back saying yes it was because my sons sim was now pay as you go and he had been recieveing lots of texts to that number... so i phoned o2 and they checked and said sorry yes it should have been cancelled and that they would pay me back any money due... well i got yet another bill and no money.. so emailed them back and they said they owe me £31.50 and i would have it within 2 weeks... now yesterday i check my bank and they have taken yet another £35 out grrrrr.. i am so p****d off with them after about 7 emails and phone calls they are still ripping me off... i left the direct debit open because my daughters phone is still with them and also i assume it needs to be open for them to put the money back into my account... i just don't seem to be getting anywhere... i have asked 3 times for an email or phone number for complaints but they will not give me one and i don't seem to be getting any of my money back yet.. does anyone have any advice??? thank you mandy ps... i know i shouldn't have but in my last email i swore at them (asked if they were taking the ****) now i doubt i will get any reply
  3. hi, i ordered a dryer from dixons which was delivered on sunday 27 jan... it was not even wrapped up... the delivery men asked if i wanted it unwrapped. i said NO i will do that my self...well it came through the door a minute later with no wrapping on at all... they quickly wanted me to sign for it so they could go...well i noticed how damaged it was both side have big dents in them, the top lid doesn't fit right (i assume because of the knocks that it's twisted) there is a 6 mm gap between the joins and a large scratch on the front...i got in touch with dixons and after getting passed from pillow to post they said head office would phone me within 48 hours.... i never recieved any phone call which i was angry about after all this messing about...all i wanted was a replacement and they couldn't even get that right... so i phoned up again to ask for a refund and tell them to come and collect it.... i have now ordered from another company... now my problem is i have to wait for head office to call so they can arrange for the dryer to be picked up and arrange a refund...but i am worried now that they not going to call me and i really need my £200 back coz i have paided for the other dryer now. i only have a small kitchen and don't have the room to store that stupid knacked up dryer... i can not get a hold of the number for head office can anybody give me any advice on what i should do... they have my money now they don't give a crap and i'm stuck thanks for any help mandy
  4. Hi, i got in contact with HP because that was what i told to do for repairs (when i phoned up comet)... now HP have had the laptop back twice to repair is it too late to go to comet or will i have to deal with HP now?? i just don't seem to be getting anywhere thanks mandy
  5. hi, i've got a hp laptop bought from comet... 2 months ago i sent it to hp for repair... it came back and the touchpad had been replaced but was acting crazy at times... sent it back a second time and still the same.. sometimes it works fine and then other times it just freezes and the only way to get the pointer moving is to remove the power charger (when it is running from the battery there is no problem) also at the same time the quicklaunch buttons are playing up whenever the touchpad does.. i have been trying to get back in touch with hp but they are not responding to me...they have caused this problem.. the other day i had to keep charging the battery up before i could use the laptop seem it would work while running from the mains.. this lasted almost a full day... i don't know what to do because my warranty runs out in less than 2 weeks how can i get it fixed if they will not respond.. i wish i never sent it for repair in the first place i would have rather had it in that condition than the way it is now.. please can anyone advise me thanks mandy

Hi, i bought a HP laptop from comet last october... just under 2 months ago i sent it back to HP for repair, there were a few problems the mouse touchpad buttons not working right the dvd kept ejecting and marks starting to apear on the lcd screen they told me i would have it back in 6-8 days at 3 weeks i got in touch coz i wasn't happy at waiting that long and had it back a few days later. the dvd and touchpad buttons were fixed, but the marks were still on the screen...i got back in touch with HP and they told me how sorry they were and told me that this time it will be fixed fully.. so they took it back and after 2 weeks i got it back.. they have did NOTHING .. the screen still has the marks BUT even worse they have did something to the quicklaunch buttons because they do not work very easy, i have to keep trying them over and over.. i emailed HP again told them about the screen but they did not get back in touch... hmmmmm ... so i went to HP online contact and sent another message saying i will go to court if i have to and they replied to me and said someone will contact me. it's now been 2 days and they haven't... it's pointless trying to phone them coz i tried a few times and was kept waiting for 40 mins each time so i put the phone down (those calls are not cheap) i think maybe they are taking their time because my warranty runs out on october 3rd... or should it have been comet i should be contacting?? i am stuck as what to do... by the way is a power adaptor included in warranty?? because that also has wires sticking out so i had to buy a new one... thanks for any help mandy
