Hi, My family went for a day out in Plymouth recently & parked in the Barbican Coxside car park. We bought a pay & display ticket and placed it on the dashboard. When we returned, there was a parking fine attached to the windscreen saying we had improperly displayed our ticket. We rang the number on the fine (W.J.Parking Ltd) to dispute this, but the woman said we had to pay the £60 fine within a week or it would increase to £100. If we didn't pay they would take us to court. The woman said to send a letter with the payment & enclose the original pay & display ticket to obtain a refund. A pain in the rear, but we did as we were told. One week later we received a letter refusing a refund as our ticket had been incorrectly displayed upside down i.e. so that the writing wasn't visible. Two other adults were with me & we are pretty sure the ticket was the right way up when I placed it on the dash. Has anyone got any advice on what I can do next? Please help :0(
