Funny one for you ...have just spoken to MCOL againm - apparently they have "mislaid" Barclays defense. The lady I spoke to advised that they will "probbaly" end up giving them another 12 days to file a defense - and if they don't I win. Of course they will ...it just drags things on a little longer than it should have !!!! Decisions decisions ...

Thanks guys. I havent yet told Barclays anything either way but called the people at MCOL yesterday only to be told they had somehow not transferred my case to a local court so will find out why. In the meantime this morning I have received a letter from Barclays advising they are going to try to get my case put on hold....

Hi Guys I have not yet received a court date. I called MCOL today and they advised that Barlcays had entered their defence but for some reason they had not yet transferred the case to my local court. They are going to sort it within the next 5 days. In the meantime Barclays made me an offer - however the offer expires at the end of the month ("8 weeks"). I am worried that the offer will expire before I get a court case date - or that my case will now be put on hold ? I haven't replied to the offer letter ... I'm not sure what to do ... I've had advise from another site before I found this one - so although the letters I have sent are not exactly as on here - everything seems to be in order. The other site advised sending an outright rejection letter to their offer - but I have been reluctant to do this - especially given the current situation... Any advise / info would be appreciated.
