  1. Hi I hope someone can help me.... I'm helping my father claim back charges from the Abbey National bank and on Monday he received a set of tables as per the DPA request showing the months when charges were deducted from his account. Looking back at past statements, these usually left his account around the 21st or 22nd of the month but is it going to be good enough putting the 22nd everytime or do we need to exact to the day? Additionally, some charges were refunded at the same time so for example in one month he has £30 of unpaid direct debit charges but £30 refunded in unpaid direct debit charges. Finally, just to confirm, the Abbey have gone all the way back to September 2001 in detailing charges but the statute of limitations means we can only go back 6 years from the date of the DPA request or the date of the complaint letter that will next be fired off? Has anyone had any success in going back further?
