Thomson have again decided to cancel flights booked 12 months in advance. Chose Thomson as only they travelled to the RUI Tequila flying Cardiff to Cancun. Booked 12 months in advance to ensure I flew from Cardiff. Now 10 weeks and 1 day before depature date the flight has been cancelled. No compensation Lunn Poly comment is fly from Gatwick or Birmingham or cancel. No offer of a taxi to the airport of compensation for a necessary overnight stay in a hotel and 2 weeks parking. However if I had wanted to make a change to my booking there would have been a charge!! Again appalling customer service from Thomson Wouldn't recommend this tour operator if my life was dependant on it. I have only booked twice with Thomson (usually fly First Choice) and last year they double booked twice in 2 days, only 3 days before departure. We accepted alternative and the following day the alternative offered had become double booked. Now my flight is cancelled 1 day before payment is due and a distinct lack of customer care! Book with Thomson at your peril!!!
