nope no letter, the payment was recieved on 20th Feb. i am writing to them anyway to say i'm not happy with the figure and update them on the current outstanding figure including extra charges since case stayed! i'll let you know when and what i said

I have just looked at my Barclays account that i have had in court since Aug 07 on stay and they have made a goodwill gesture payment for 50% of my claim to me 2 weeks ago. I have not recieved anything from Barclays telling me why this has been done or even hat it had been done. Afew weeks back i wrote to them explaining i had financial difficulties and wish for them to forward me their claim form under financial hardship rules. I had recently transferred all in and outgoings to another bank so the account looked dormant. And thats it! i never recieved a claim form, i haven't told them anything about my personal circumstances... they just paid. Will let you know more when i know more!!

HiSlick, been a while since i've been in here. I have now found that it may be possible for me to claim hardship if my bank has taken over £500 a year in charges. does anyone know if this is correct? if so how do i go about it?? Sounds to good to be true after 2 years!!

hello again all, i have a question... my court case was stayed in Aug 07. On the court letter it stated that it is to be stayed until the outcome of the test case. As the test case is going ahead next week will this mean straight after my case will be re opened? my case did not state after the test case and any appeals, so really two weeks and i should re open my case right? plus do i re open it or will the court do it automatically?

i don't mind, he makes sense i have already decided not to apply for a stay on this basis anyway (time scale) but thanks for your input roll on January!! Monkey

not really, still handy to have hold of all the litigation details for after the test case or if your lucky enough to get a stay lifted

i have already applied for a lift of the stay on my claim but did not tell my bank. I have now forward the application for my bank to retain a copy. Maybe the info in there will get them to make me an offer before the courts get chance to reply??

i must admit, Dino was the only team member i ever got a reply from. When he told me he was dealing with my case i was very happy after reading all the good reviews on here. Just a pity he had his hands tied with the OFT case in the end.

Please note, I receievd an e mail stating that an offer would be made to me but not until 1 week before the hearing. I still hold a copy of this.

who was that from? Dino was dealing with my case so who do i contact now? didn't they think of letting Dino's claimants know?

(i do not have a copy with me, in work!!) it said that they could not offer me money before a hearing date and then they would only make me an offer one week before the hearing and not to contact them until then. My hearing was on the 30th August. These emails were received at the end of June.
