Hi again. I'm ploughing thru a stack of statements from Barclays and am coming up with items marked: A/C Control Fees with varying amounts in multiples of £12.00 Am I right in assuming that these can also be reclaimed? Thanx

Have just been reading a few more threads to get up to speed etc BUT: Have just seen a note saying banks have to give 1 mnths notice before closing your account ......... we had our accounts closed without notice ....... the letters arrived on 24 Dec ......... huge problems for small business & personal banking etc. Can I claim damages for their actions?? Have downloaded a complaint form from FOS but not sent it off. Am already preparing a claim for charges [over £3K with interest etc !!!!!] Thanx

Had a load of questions, but followed a few of the discussions and found the answers ............. so thanks to you already!! Have begun the process of claiming back charges from Barclays . Have received statements and am doing the sums to see how much they have charged us ............. Over £2400 on one account!!!!!!!!! Have not yet started on 2nd account which will be a lot less.
