Hi all Received a phone call, ans phone message, from this company saying that I needed to contact them as a matter of urgency. Would not speak to me only to my wife. When she called them after a lot of unprofessional faffing about they told her that she owed them 1,600 pounds as a result of excess mileage on a car we sold over 5 years ago. They told her that they had sent us several letters informing us of this and that she would be taken to court if she did not pay. We have not received any such letters.Another letter would be sent out immediately. It didnt arrive until 5 days later! They helpfully said that they could arrange for her to pay it of in installments. The letter said that the company to which we owed money was MGR Capital. I seem to remember they were not the original company we signed up with but took over after the sale. The garage admitted that they had had a lot of complaints about the way customers had been treated by MGR. BCW also said that an agent could be instructed to attend my premises to establish residency. HAs anyone had similar communications from BCW?
