  9. Sent another secure chaser email.

As i still have not recieved any of my statements, nor a reply to my last email asking with this form is.

  10. Recieved the statements from MINT:

Only 2 late fees in 2 years:

Gave them a call they said they would refund the latest late fee £20. They said they would need a letter regarding the first late fee 10/04/04 £20 explaining why i believe it should be refunded.

They said before they will accept the payments from the CCCS they need to default me first, gits.

  11. Recieved a statement back, no covering letter or explanation about any manual intevention.

    charges:

    7/04/06 UNPAID DD COSTS £25

    13/04/06 ADDITIONAL INTEREST £2.54

    18/04/06 ADMIN ARREARS CHARGE £25

Total £52.54 for being late with one payment, in 5 years.

I called them and asked them to refund the charges on the grounds that it is unfair and i have only 8 more months left on the loan aggrement. The gave me the usual bull about the term & conditions.

Said can we come to some sort amicable arrangement otherwise i will have to take this further, she said she would make a not on the account, end of converstation !!!

Is it time for the LBA?

FAO Jenny Gordon / E. Ewell

With the regard to your request for identification for the DSIR, i believe my signature in my previous letter should be enough for the DSIR request. Also the documents you asked for(Identification - statements) i believe to be delay tatic and as such will be reporting this incident to the OFT. Also i would like to point out that the address you should be sending the documents to is the one that is reqistered with egg and is were egg send my statements.

My letter dated the 8 May asking for DSIR still stands and from today you have left 30 days to comply with my request and counting.....

Also the letter you sent mentions a form to fill in, there was no form provided (Another delay tatic?) nor do i believe i need to fill in a form.

Please accept this secure message as proof of who i am and that the requested for the DSIR documentation is legitimate.

I look forward to reciving the requested DSIR documents.

    Regards

    Jeremy

  17. Just recieved a letter (Your Data Subject Information Request (DSIR)) asking for me to prove my identification?

I find that amazing since the address they send my statements to and the address that has been registered on there system for over 5 years is the address i asked them to send the data to????? Bonkers!

    Identification:

A bank, building society or credit card statement.

    A store card statement

    A utility bill

Shall i send them one of my egg statements!? lol Better not since that my also add to delays.

What the DSIR letter does say:

"What information will be included in the Data Subject Information Request?

You will recieve a copy of all personal data we hold about you on our computer or paper files, along with a set of explanation notes. This data may include, as applicable, the following products:" blah blah

So that all sounds very promising, until i read....

    "What happens now?

Once we have recived your identification document we will begin processing your request. We will provide your data within 40 Calendar days of recieveing your completed form and fee"
