    ask them for a settlement figure for the finance. if it is £10k, if the dealer wants to pay £8k for it , then give them a extra £2k and then you can clear it off, will be the easiest way of doing it and you will not have a default registerd against u as well

    speak to your finance company and just ask them the question or just ask to see a copy of your contract
