  2. Am patiently waiting to hear from the bank - sent my civil bill off last monday they will prob leave it to the last minute. Has anyone else got this far - just wondered how long it takes to get everything finalised??
  3. Congrats to you - glad to hear you got sorted
  4. Hey Durutti How are you gettin on with you claim - did you lodge the civil bill yet? I ended up having to go to ballymena, was in lisburn and belfast courthouses and they both told me i needed legal representation to lodge the claim.
  5. Hi Sideline Did you go ahead with you claim? Im claimin against ulster bank - not sure how first trust are playing it at the minute
  6. do they normally wait the 21 days before contacting us, how long does it take from issuing the claim with the courts - i know every claim is different but when you get this far you start getting impatient. Also another thing im hoping they dont stall too long as the courts close at the end of june / july for a couple of months
  7. Thanks for that - im just praying it all goes according to plan. I havent seen anyone else on here lately that has lodged a civil bill so that i know what to expect??
  8. Hi i got the same letter but i went ahead and lodged the civil bill with the court on fri, have posted the civil bill to the bank registered post today. Keep you fingers crossed for me - i hope its plain sailing from here.
  9. Hi guys more questions for you, i had sent the bank a letter in repsonse to their "our penalties are fair" letter to say that i was not satisfied with their response and that i wanted the money paid in full - sent letter three weeks ago. I got a letter from them this morning asking me to photocopy my statements and highlight the charges and send it back to them and they would review the claim again and would reimburse me any charges for photocopying - is this just another stalling motive for them, they stated in the letter that this would take 6 - 8 weeks to complete
  10. Hi John Thanks for that - i would have sent it to my local branch, also i have my own thread its me v ulsterbank. I thought it said on the civil bill form that they had 21 days to conatct the court and me regarding the claim??? Hopefully i have the correct civil bill form or can you point me in the right direction.
  11. Thanks John, I will let you know how i get on.
  12. Morning John CAn you confirm for me what all i need to take to the court, i have the letter requesting the statements, the 6 years of statements, the letter requesting my charges, the letter back from the bank telling me to sod off and my spreadsheet of charges, and the civil bill - is that all i need??? Sorry for torturing you
  13. Im gonna get my mother to go to ballymena court on thursday and get the civil bill stamped for me and see how it goes from there. If need be i will resort to one of those reclaim companies. wish me luck!!!
  14. i should to that, but i phoned ballymena court today and they said i could get my papers stamped there - i just had a wasted day on friday by the looks of things!!! They said i would only need a solicitor if the ulster bank didnt cough up and i had to go to court - hopefully that wont happen though!!! Thanks for the advise though
  15. I phoned ballymena court there and they said I should get a solicitor but as you said its not required at this stage, they will take and stamp the civil bill for me, do you know if i have to go in person or an i send someone else to the court to lodge it for me? Sorry for tortring you
