All sorted, copied it of, put in the right details and got receptionist to send by recorded so they should get by monday at latest!,

the particulars of the claim are for an amount around 1800.00 for a credit card debt stating that it is overdue and now fully due. She knows nothing of this debt. But ive already written on the defence part on the response part (online that we dont know what this debt is for and asking them send us a copy of the agreement or to the court)

Just to let everyone know, ive spoken to someone at the bbc , regarding this as i posted someone in reponse to thier news item. she said i may go on five live or something with my story:o) interesting!i mentioned this website and said if it wasnt for its useful information and help i wouldnt sorted my problems out.

A friend has rung me today to advise they have received a claim form for a CCJ with regards to a debt they dont recognise, it was issued on 22nd of jan. Now i know she has 14 days to respond. I will be going to see her tomorrow night to look at the paper work sent with it etc. What should she do?if she doesnt acknoweledge the debt etc, she obviously hasnt got time to CCA as she has to respond to the claim asap. If someone could help me with this(as i am out of my depth with this) then i can help her tommorrow night

no u need to make a formal application to set it aside, you will then get a court date Have you not got the paper work sorted?

No send it back immediately, if you dont it come bk and haunt you! you have more to loose then gain if you dont

You also need to apply to get this set aside. I believe you have 18 days from the 9th to do this(i could be wrong?), if this is the case you need to act on this "today"

yep dont panic. should they send you a stat demand they wont bring it personally and just post on here if they do, people will give you further info, nothign to worry about. Your in safe hands:o)
