  1. Did you ever get the the bottom of the 3d premium? Also did you get the orginial CCA yet?
  2. Hi All, I know the basic telephone harassment thing is covered elsewhere and a letter has been sent to them however we are now at up to 5 calls a day. How do we report them? can't find any specifics on the Oftel or the OFT websites. Help. We are now reviewing and recommending the Truecall call recorder. See:- http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/telephone-recorders-reviews-write/167120-truecall-digital-telephone-recorder.html This machine is a bit pricey but does everything and more. However, there are other cheaper options available. The most important thing is to get some kind of call recorder and start gathering your evidence
  3. Here is the letter that I have sent RBS Lets see what comes of that.
  4. Thanks for the congratulations. The cheque is payble to me but it say into a/c ( my account number) I really wanted to pay that into my other account the transfer just enough to cover my od and then close the account. Does the cheque have to go into the account mentioned on the cheque?
  5. Just had a knock on the door - It was the Postie with a Special Delivery letter from RBS. Inside was the "not comercially viable to fight" letter and a cheque for the full amount inc costs and shy a couple of quid in statutory interest. Normal conditions apply stop action, not to court publicity, etc... As I only got as far then acknowledging the claim can I make a wasted costs order?
  6. Thanks for the nice comments. Just got a text message from NastyWest asking me to call them urgently. It seems my AG account is overdrawn (all charges) and they wanted to discuss repayment terms. I pointed out that the balance on that account was currently subject of an on going law suit. Doesn't anyone in at Nasty West talk to one another. I would have thought that the legal action would have appeared on the account notes but clearly they don't. The collections department lady said that she was putting notes on my account and passing it back to customer services in borehamwood. As noted above they have till the 18th to cough up or put up. Bottom line is should I worry about the collections people?
  7. Well one week to go and still nothing from Nasty Wet Bank..
  8. Just follow the process step by step. Make sure that you have a parachute account especially if you are likely to go overdrawn. also be prepared to see this through to the bitter end. I currently have a claim for 400+ at the litigation stage at the moment with 15 days to run for them to either post a defence or cough up. Expecting the latter. Follow the proven method described here and you will be fine.
  9. I claimed back 144 inc court costs from natwest a couple of months ago - it seems to take the same length of time as the larger claims ie upto the day before i could request judgement. I would think you are much more likely to get a payout as it really is not worth there effort to defend.
  10. Also check that they haven't transposed the meter readings if you have 2 rates. I am currently battling with them on that front.
  11. As expected they have stung me for another £40 "unauthorised OD fee" yesterday. They have acknowledged the service of the claim so they have til June 18th. What is the betting I get a letter from them with a cheque on the 17th?
  12. I have been having a similar ding-dong with sky. In a recent salvo they sent me a letter stating that my problems were "ALL SORTED" in fact I got 2 copies! 5 days later they suspended my service. Apparently they had sent me 3 letters saying that I owed them money cause a DDM had 'bounced'. I had responded to the 1st letter than then generated the ALL SORTED letters. never received the 2nd or 3rd. However they claim that I had made a promise to pay after the 2nd letter. Which I did not. So I wrote to them and after the 2nd letter got a responce that said something of interest as I had requested a copy or transcript of the call where I had allegedly made the promise to pay. The response was that they were unable to provide this as calls are only recorded for training purposes. So after that long pre-amble if I was to make a formal S.A.R under the DPA would they have to provided me with the information? Do all companies that record calls have to provide transcripts/recordings under the act even if it is just for training purposes?
  13. I do have a question that hopefully someone might be able to help me with. The account I am claiming back the charges for is currently overdrawn entirely due to charges and I can see another unauthorised OD fee being slapped on at the end of the month. Is there anyway I can add that figure to the claim? Thanks
  14. My claim for £441 + costs has been acknowledged so they now have till 18th to improve there earlier miserly offer of £76.00
