It has taken about 4 weeks from contacting the FOS, although it will take up to six weeks for the bank to make the actual repayment into the account. Anyway it will be worth the wait!! Good luck to everyone else

I received a full and final settlement letter from Lloyds TSB, offering me £750.00, which I rejected, obviously. However this amount was paid into my account. The letter from the bank was their 'final response' and invited me to make contact with the Financial Ombudsman Service if I was unhappy with the banks response. I did and completed a simple on line form. Today - SUCCESS!! - the bank have written to the FOS and offered to meet my claim in full, less the £750.00 already paid out. All this and without the hassle of completing Court Papers.

I have written to LloydsTSB to reclaim almost £4500.00 in charges, the bank responded and offered me £750 as 'full and final settlement' which I, obviously, rejected. However the bank has ignored my letter of rejection and refunded the £750.00 into my account. What do I do next? Can I still claim the difference of £3750.00 in the County Court? Any help would be appreciated.
